I hope they make better smoke and skid marks in GT4...

Now, I'm sure I'm not alone when I say this....An in place burnout just isn't the same unless there's a huge-ass cloud of smoke! Ok, I realize that there are no skid marks and huge clouds of smoke in GT3, because of memory....If they crammed all this and that in there, The graphic's would suffer alot. But still, Make a little smoke atleast! Just imagine making a cloud of smoke after doing a huge burnout....*drools* Then to drive away, look back, and see a wannabe mushroom cloud where you used to be! 😈

Another thing that's been gnawing at me, Is that you can't do an in place burnout in a RWD car!! That sucks!! And I want some better 4WD burnouts too!!

Anyways, If I were voting, I figure that the ability to do a burnout wouldn't improve the actual racing (which is what we all play the game for) so they can leave it out... I figure smoke and tiretracks would be cool the first 5 times you do it, but it'd get lame pretty fast.

Just like in real life. You do a brake stand in your 'stang (perhaps not a mustang with the name "Imports4Life" :D) and all is good. But, are you gonna do that every day? Nah... the entertainment value wears off too quick.

<shrug> Just my theory.
