I just bought a brand new Gran Turismo 5 Academy Edition Please help

Hi everyone,

I finally saved up and bought Gran Turismo 5, and I bought the Academy Edition brand new from a shop so that I get the extra cars, and tracks and I went to type in the code on the PSN store but it says that my code expired on 31st January 2013 :(

I feel upset because I paid extra for the academy edition and I basically have the standard game now, is there any way I can contact sony and ask them? I feel that its completely unfair that they sell the Academy Edition brand new in shops and advertise that it comes with extras, and that the code has expired :(

There are two codes: one for the DLC and one for the special Academy Edition online seasonal event.

The seasonal has closed so it's probably that code that expired.
 
Academy Edition DLC codes do not expire until 31/12/2015

My game has come with a Manual but I cannot find any codes on or in the manual, and the back cover is just an advert for Motorstorm RC,

and it also came with a leaflet saying Gran Turismo 5 Academy Edition Challenge, that has a 12 digit code on it saying in small print redemption expiry date: 31/01/2013

Please can you help me find the other code for the DLC please?

Thanks :) Is it on the game or something? when I go to cars in Gran Turismo 5 it shows me some cars, with a small red sign next to them, and when I try and buy the car it says that I need to download something,

Your game should've came with:

• A manual.
• A sheet with the competition codes on it.
• Another sheet with the DLC codes on it.

Did you get all of the above?

The game was brand new and sealed and I opened it up and there was only a Manual in there, the disc and one purple sheet saying Gran Turismo 5 Academy Edition challenge that has a 12 digit code that has expired :(

I think that it's missing the other sheet
 
Before I comment further - is there anything on the back of the purple sheet?
 
It sounds like you've been sold the game w/out the DLC Codes. :guilty:

Try returning the game (explaining the situation) or, as Toronado said, contact Sony. 👍

Thanks, on the back of the purple sheet it just shows Playstation Network voucher code terms and conditions, without any codes,

Thanks all for your help, I will try phoning them tomorrow, I live in Wales, UK, does anyone know what number I can ring please and also is it free to phone?

Have people forgotten how to use google these days? :D Hope they can solve your issue anyway mate.
