I just got a idea...

After seeing that flip tops for the normal "fat" PS2's. I recently ( few monthes ago ) bought the slim one. And its a flip up on its own. But i'm striken in curiousity if can do this, heres my idea.

The swap magic discs, if I buy one. Could it actually work to play import games? Cause i'm thinking, since you have to buy a flip top to play the import games ( well it was a portion to what you could do besides soldier the system. ) for the fat PS2 series, I could take the new, SCPH-7000000 ( slim ) series comes with the standard "flip top" and use this as a advantage for my own to play import games. But, the real question. If I do buy a Swap Magic disc, and a import game. Could I use this slim PS2 to play the import game with the swap magic disc?

Just curious if its possible or if anyone put thought into the idea. Cause i've never seen anyone talk about it yet.

Go to the site of a company that sells them. There should be a compatibility listing.

Get a chip or hdloader instead though. With swapmagic, you're going to be in for a major pain in the ass.

Its too much for a chip or some other crap. I rather just be cheap and play import games. Since Importing games is already $70USD and up. I think putting cash like that is enough.

But could you give me a list on what company's sells them or makes them?

No you can't play import games with swap magic discs on the slim line PS2 as standard but there is something you can buy so that you can, i think it's called a slimtool.
