I just got GT3 and its not working

Look guys i just bought gt3 but it wont work. i've loaded it into my playstation and it wont show up. How do u make it appear on ur screen????????

Sounds like you have quite the problem...I am not sure what your doing wrong, are you sure you have to Playstation 2? Just messin, not sure what to tell ya, maybe someone else could figure out what's wrong with it.   Everything plugged in correctly, and does the PS2 work with other games?  Maybe you just got a bad one out of the batch.

Yeah, not good.

Go to the browser screen and see if the disc shows up there.  If not, I'd return it for a replacement copy.

I've heard that some of the initial shipments of PS2's have had problems reading DVDs and DVD games (a problem which Sony will fix for over $100US!!). A friend of mine has had similar problems with other DVD games. Do you have another DVD game you can try and see if it works? Hopefully it's a problem with the disc and not the system.

um,check to see if its a PS2 first. second,check for scratches. 3rd take it for a refund and buy another one

I know about youre prob.  There was a shipment made to the game stores, specifically EB's where the # on the back of the GT3 disc is different than the working GT3 discs.
