hey jordan I just wanted to say thanks for the very helpful site it has opened up a whole new world of Gran turismo for me and the people are very helpful on here and very knowledgeable I just wanted to say I am glad to be a part of the best and ONLY GT source online GTPLANET.NET keep up the site and i look forward to the future. Thank you youve helped me a lot :)

I've been through 3 SNs. Although I wish I got GTS-R_MAN back, And i've got like 3,000 posts here and everyone I was enjoying the site.
 
after you hit 500, posts become obsolete because you have everything you could possibly need (custom title, custom avatar, what else could you want?). By the way, I was wondering about the avatar stuff; If I link my avatar from a different site, can I have it set up so that it randomly chooses between a bunch of different ones (like, I was wondering if the src for the image allows for a small js script that would refer to a random function I have planted on a remote server)?

No, when you enter a remote address for an avatar, our server goes out and downloads it, storing it locally.

Omero, you could use a.gif file and have your avatar change every 10 seconds or so. That would sort of have the sameeffect your looking for maybe.

Nah, what I was looking for was using something that changes it every time the page loads (like, have a set that one is randomly chosen from). Thanks for clearing that up, Jordan. 👍
 
Yeah, this is an awesome site. It is the first message board I've ever been a memeber, and i dont have a need to go to any other message board because this has everything that I'd ever need. Keep up the good work Jordan 👍
 
GTplanet is the greatest because of the large number of members, and wide variety of different kinds of forums (I haven't seen a Test forum anywhere else). Also people here are very friendly (seen some places where n00bs are afraid to post because of the evil veterans....).
 
Those 'n00bs' weren't referring to here were they?
This place has everything. If you need to find something out and it is amazingly not on here, you could post the question and get dozens of answers.
One of the things I will say that I have noticed makes this site different to others is that it isn't dark, with greys and blacks and stuff.

While I'm at it, I could say some more good things.
The colouring that Exige was talking about.
Lot's of different users. I mean that the age varies from 15-30 (could be different, didn't make a research or anything ;)) and people from all over the world.

GTplanet is really a forum that has everything. I actually haven't thought about it before I wrote this message. Now I realise that GTp is really r0x0ring everyones b0x0rz.
