Does any one know if gt4 will support the i-link mode? I am a member of the M.G.T.R.A (missouri gran turismo racing association) we link up every saturday night. We have 6 cockpits built in one room with 6 driving force wheels, pedals, 6 tv's and 6 ps2's that are linked up. We run for points and the side bets get large enough to make one's house payment. Im serious, we have quite a few members and are letting more in every week. It is a requirement to get all of your licenses befor getting on the track with any of the veterans. Well enough said, oh by the way if any one is interested we are going to have a tournament in september. Depending on the amount of people the pay out may be any where from 500 to 1000 for the fastest man.

welcome to the forum

yes i am fairly sure i will be in GT4

I-link is supported :) ! So get yourself that money my friend :D

Yes, I will post a few pics in a couple of days. We will have our new site (M.G.T.R.A) up and running in a week or so. We will have lots of pics from our weekly raceday and will also post who has set the fast time for the night and on what track so people can get an idea of how serious this association is. Our youngest driver is 26 yrs old and the oldest is about 36 yrs so there is no momma's boys. We race clean and by the rules.

For those of you that have said that gt4 will support the i-link, could you please point me in the direction to which you found such information.:)

Hey kwik I am 27 now, but that is okay. He is serious guys, we are looking for some more people to race in the MO, KS area. IF you have not race GT3 like this than you haven't raced GT. Kwik I think I have the pics if you want me to post them? Let me know.

Go right ahead, I was going to go to icemans and take a few more but if you have some old ones send them. I think we only had four set up then but I am not sure.

Thats true, they won't be making ps2's with I-link ports in them. But they do make PS2's for $200 now that come with the network adapter. My guess is they will not spend any time with I-link because its going to support online anyway.

Mr.Kwik: Do you plan on buying 6 of the new wheel thats gonna be released when GT4 comes out?

B-man, Yes we will have the new wheels as soon as we can get our hands on them. I just wished Polyphony Digital would not give exclusive rights to Logitech. We will buy 6 new wheels but I myself will only buy one. We have 6 cockpits built but each pit has a different owner and that person will be responsible for purchasing his own wheel, he will probably take donations from the other people who use the cockpit on a regular basis. The cockpits are made so that they are adjustable. So some people like a pit set one way and others like it another. The cockpits which we have made feel like a real car. You set in them not on them like some other set ups I have seen. You have to be comfortable if you are setting in one of these things for an average of about 10 to 12 hours a week.
