Well, Ive heard many people talking about hooking up 3 tvs/ps2's for the Ultimate View, which if you ask me is a bunch of crap. Personally, If you have tried the I-link and pushed it to the point of Amazement, you would know that hooking up more than 3 tvs/ps2's is totally addiciting. I have actually played an Ilink setup with more than 3, and let me tell you. IT KICKS A$$!!! But then again, how many people to you know who have that much money to buy an X amount of TV's and PS2's??????

Im Also Just Curious how many people out there would be interested in playing I-Link if it was available to them.... OH.. one more thing, Where is everybody from??

Well if your friends have PS2`s and you use your TV and there`s all you need are the i-link cables, haven`t done it yet though!!

I live in Newcastle UK (England)

I'd prefer going on the net with my ps2 and looking for ppl playing gt3 at the same time and inviting them to an internet battle. ilink was made for stores that had hooked up ps2s with each tv. Its the exact same thing as going to a pc room and playing a network game like quake or counterstrike.

IMO - Going to the net with latency issues (even with a T1 connection)?  I hope that GT4, assuming net compatible, will not reduce quality in gameplay, grfx, framerates, and all the little details that went into GT3 just so that they can make it run decently on the net.

Besides, how could you tackle your friend when he beats you in a race.  Some physical contact (soap beatings) is always good to reduce tension after a long gruling race. :D

The idea of I-link is not to play it on the internet.. but to get a bunch of people together and play... when you play over the NET... you cant talk to them... you just cant do it! having everything setup in a house is alot more fun.. so to speak... when ya get people together.. you can talk between each other, have fun... i personally would NOT play GT3 over the net.. because you would lose the quality of the game... and thats to CONVERSE between others while playing... i honestly think that people who play GT3 online have no real friends.. because friends get together.. and have fun.. not sit at a desk and be totally b0red because you cant talk to your opponents while racing.. ya get what i'm saying here????

btw.. im from Daytona Beach.. home of the gt3club

Personally, I was kinda disappointed with the I-link for GT3.  My cousin and I have been getting together and linking our PS1's for years to play Test Drive 4 and were eagerly awaiting the new GT3 to do the same thing in Hi Res.  Kinda bummed when I found that you couldn't have the computer controlled cars on the track and you couldn't race with your own Garage of modified cars from the simulation game.  Not knocking the game itself though.  Totally amazing single player game.  Also I am sure the i-link is a blast with 5 or 6 people.  I just don't know that many people with PS2's who like racing games.  Oh well, looking forward to the next one.

By the way, does anyone like the Zonda C12S as much as I do?  When it is set up right it is an awesome car...

the zonda c12s has HORRIFIC understeer.  The Zonda Race Car is the sh**.  I have to admit the c12s is probobly the best looking car in the game... from the front anyways. The back end is nasty ugly

The Zonda C12S is definitely badly been at the start, which is Settings to adjust hardly correctly is however important, be sure that the wheel angles are correctly adjusted... about 3 or 4 degrees : diffrent settings front and rear ;)

-- nice car however the ZZII real sux -- :D

So from what I can gather the I-link is for 2-6 PS2's?. But the one major drawback is you cant use your own garages for cars?? That's bulls*** if you cant. Don't see the point in spending days, weeks, months collecting cars in the 1 player game, but you cant use them in Link!

Can you use the C12s in the un-modified races?

The ZZII when modded correctly is an absolute gem of a motor!

well.. that would be correct.. the i-link is for 2 ps2's.... but if you want to play with more than 2 ps2's... you need to get the I-Link Hub... which can connect up to 6 ps2's/per Hub.. and i know it really sucks that you cant use your garage in I-link.... it would be so very very sw33t if we could... cause that would be one hella race......
