Ive been looking round and this is the perfect place for this 'feedback'.
How i became to Love GTP by Tommi2000
It was a few months ago now... i'd had GT4 for ages and my memory card was jam-packed with Shots, after seeing loads of GT4 drifting vides on Youtube etc. we (me and my friend) wanted a go.
So we googled gt4 drift settings and a particular site popped up called gtplanet.net.
We got settings for cars, but a few days later we had a look round the whole community of GTP and found it amazing so we decided to sign up!

We soon looked round and found how to put our shots onto our PC's and up onto GTP, gradually we built up our gallery's and here we are today..

So i would just like to say Thanks To Jordan For Making a Great site which has really changed my opinions and views on things and has made me many buddies and i can post my views on people shots, vote in polls, post my own shots and recieve advise.

So thanks again Jordan For the great Site!:cheers:

GTPlanet is just amazing, the community spirit for something online is astonishly high and I havent seen anywhere else on the net with the same kind of great disscussion on all sorts of topics not just GT... I can't seem to break away from this place! :lol:
 
Yup, GTP is all about the members. Of course, we all have Jordan to thank for providing us this outlet. But the best-run site in the world, with the greatest staff, is still only going to be as worthwhile as the community itself makes it.

We're glad to have you aboard.
 
There are no other fourms which can match the greatness of GTP!! and GTP is not strict if you abide by the rules.

I would just like to add my thanks to all the members here who make GT Planet the place it is, and also to Jordan for setting the bar high in terms of what we expect from members. One of the reasons why the membership contributes so much to the site and community is because the likes of GT4SuperNoob will eventually show a disregard for the AUP, staff and most significantly other members. Fortunately we have a low tolerance for people who would quickly drag the whole place down to a level I'm sure none of us would want it to be at.

On occasion members do ask why we have a strong AUP and enforce it strictly (but fairly I believe), and GT4SuperNoob is a classic example of why. I for one would not want to spend any time on a site populated by individuals such as him/her.

So once again here's to Jordan and every single contributing member of GT Planet, you all do a great job of building the community we all love and to be honest from a moderation point of view, the vast majority of you make our jobs relatively easy.

I did however call his attention in the Guess The Band thread.,.. or rather, he felt affected by a comment I made. This was not my intention. The comment was made for another member, who as far as I've seen, understood it perfectly without added harm.

Oh, and this forum rules!

Don't worry about it Diego, he posted well outside the AUP, he was asked not to , he continued to do so and was issued an infraction. Which he took rather badly and thought that swearing at staff was a good way to resolve the issue. Safe to say he was mistaken and a swift banning ensued.

Not content with that he then re-registers just to spam the site with more insults to everyone, now he's not coming back to play.

GT4Supernoobs name was quite fitting... Good Riddance to bad morale rubbish.
 
Yup, this is the greatest forum I ever knew on the web and I'm glad to be a part of it. :)
 
I would hate to see a "I love GTP" thread ruined by a rude noob.

I found this site on google back at the end of September. This has been my place for all of my car-related news in the Auto news and F1 forums, a place to discuss with intelligent (had to try three times to get the word spelled right:lol:) people in the current events area and have a good time in the rumble strip, including acting smart in the Ask GTP section. The GT4 area has helped me continue with my way to GT4. Most of all, I have found a group of people I can associate with and talk to at a similar level.

Thanks Jordan, admins, mods and all of you for all of these things you have given me!!:cheers:
 
I must say, the mods are doing a good job on keeping this forum appropiate. 👍 Even though I have an infraction for my temper problems, I'm not mad at them. They're doing thier job well.

I still love GTP as much as ever, even if I am posting a little less than I was. Shame there's always one that's spoils it...
 
People like that are only as bad as the commotion they cause. Sure, some of them deserve to be yelled at, but hey, they've been banned. What does making a big deal of it really accomplish? If we just shrug those people off, others may see that we do not care and may not go for the "popularity" that causing trouble creates. Don't let idiots ruin your experience here.
