the other day i was playing GT3 and found a mini cooper in my garage. after tuning it up to about 170bhp and changing the gear rations, it surprised me a lot. the handling on it is great, understeer, oversteer what ever you want it does it and because of the FF layout its highly manouverable in tight corners. i admit the top speed sux but that doesent matter and with the right gearing it can be quite quick at accelerating. turn off the traction control and its even more fun! :D

buy every upgrade
turn the traction control off

leave all suspension settings as they are except for the ride height which is lowered to 69mm back and front

LSD initial: 10 front 0 rear
LSD acceleration: 60 front 0 rear
LSD decrease: 20 front 0 rear

gear ratios

1st 4.139
2nd 3.076
3rd 2.381
4th 1.920
5th 1.545
6th 1.234
7th ---
final 3.210
auto setting 15

thats about all i did to it, just play around with gears until you get it right. good luck

i dont remember where i seen it before but,the mini is getting a full model change, yep u read it ,different look i think it was on car and driver,i think it has 150 hp!!!!!!!!!! 😈

You must mean the Mini Cooper S.

163bhp, 0-60 in 7.4 seconds. Pretty mean little car.

No - it's quite a deal bigger. When you see it in the flesh you'll get a bit of a shock.

I was a bit disappointed the new Mini wasn't in GT3. Maybe they're doing their own game?

Just as an FYI: BMW is making the new Mini. I guess it was part of the Rover Group, but BMW kept the Mini brand, as it was working on the new car. I think it's a bit bigger than the orginal. If this works, here's a link:

Also, everyone might already know this, but if you go to the File section in the GT3 title menu, select demos, there's a file there called "mismatch." It's a two-player battle between a Mini and one of the F1 cars. Just amusing, I thought.
