i seriously love this place. everything i'm involved with in this forum has been successful, tons of nice people, edjumicated people, and people that are just slightly off. I've used the marketplace with tremendous success, never been ripped off once and the people here don't typically BS you. +1. The photomode section is friggin awesome, some outrageous photos stashed away in there if you sift through some of the riftraft. +2. The tuning forum helped me blast Like The Wind out of the freaking water after a few stressfull attempts in a Ford GT. ZR1 RM FTW and +3. I've had enough success on this place that I actually felt I needed to write a damn paragraph on it.

Just wait until you stray out of the GT5 forum.

Exactly. I joined for GT4 info. I stayed for everything else.

Welcome and enjoy, GT5Pro.

Same thing as TB, enjoy GTP! This forum feels much more of a community than any else.

This forum connects GT fans from all over the world, it really does feel like a community. This site also improves communication skills. This is a great forum. :gtplanet:

Glad to hear some positive feedback about our site...

Too often, we hear gripes about this place, but think of all we're gained from it!

Cannot agree more on that statement! :D
Well glad to hear someone new like you enjoys staying in GTPlanet, wish there were more people like you! :p Hope you do stay around for longer, and even become a Premium member and get all most the benefits and help the site at the same time!👍

Agreed, I never a site could have so many nice people, almost everyone is willing to help you (unlike 90% of the people I live around) and if you stuff up people don't explode in anger at you (once again, unlike 90% of the people I live around) and it's just so helpful to know that their are people who will help you with stuff or not get nasty.

GTP = The nicest community I've come across, and lets keep it that way

I guess the de facto motto of the site is "Come for GT. Stay for everything else." As TB noted. Of all the other forums I've joined. I've got less than 50 posts on all of them. I've got 30 times more on here. Just goes to show that this forum is one of the highest quality ones on teh interwebz 👍

If it's not that motto, I guess it's "All hail Famine!"

Thanks, guys, for the kind words. We're always glad to find new members who think the forum is a great fit. We work hard to keep it a high-quality forum here, and although that means we do inevitably anger some people, it also means we keep good users who enjoy it here and contribute to the community.

Your welcome for the positive feedback. This site also brought my ego down to earth. I used to think I was the greatest at everything I do. It was pretty silly, after my best lap times being destroyed in the GT4 lap time benchmark competition, my opinion of myself has changed. I still have a big ego, however I have more friends in my life because I no longer brag about what I do, I don't think I'm the best out there. Because somebody always will do something better than you. Nonetheless, this site is just fun to be apart of. I apologize if some of my posts are confusing and hard to understand, it is very hard for me to turn what I'm thinking into sentences or even talk about it. I thank the members who have tried to help me. It tooks me 5 minutes to write this. And I'd love to get GTpremium, what ways can I get it? (If someone could pm me the answer so thread does not go off-topic that would be greatly appreciated.)

Great post

I stumbled in almost 8yrs ago and Havnt found my way back out yet!'
All things considered its a great community with little niches in different parts to suite what ever it is your interested in. 👍

I also love this place, full of friendly people. I started looking for GT5 news and such and now I look more in other forums than in GT5 forums. I've never really had a bad encounter with someone here and people are eager to give advice and respond.

Exactly! Because of GTP, my English is getting better and I gained a lot of knowledge. This is by far the highest quality forum in the internet that I can discover. I've been to numerous forums, which I lasted at least 3 months on some but I've been here for almost 1 and a half year. We've got a great comunity, everybody is friendly, willing to share information - hands down, thanks a lot Jordan for creating such a forum. :gtpflag:

Totally agree with TB. This is a fantastic place, with tons of friendly people and a ton of knowledge about virtually any subject you can think of. I was MIA for about 3 years when I became too busy in life, but after coming back, I wish that I would have made a bit more effort on spending time on here during those 3 years. I originally came for info on Gran Turismo, but I stayed because of all the other sections. Thank you, everyone. 👍

This is pretty much my Internet home. 3rd highest views on my computer.(after google and facebook);)

Indeed , A Huge thanks to everyone here .When a day passes without gtplanet I feel something is missing such a great community Thanks guys and keep it up .

Oh and the Rumble Strip is my favorite part. It's just a sub-forum made to make you laugh.

The Rumble Strip is the best sub-forum. Don't get me wrong, I love the GT Series sub-forum, but without The Rumble Strip this forum would be great, The Rumble Strip makes this the best forum. :gtplanet: :gtpflag:

GTP is brilliant, I always check GTP before facebook, because facebook is depressing, and GTP is the complete opposite :gtpflag:

GTP is like crack for me. I have a forum to not only discuss my favorite game, but anything and everything. I spend WAY to much time on this site, and I don't care. Completely awesome people and great discussions, if you stay out the GT5 forum of course!!!

GTP = best forum ever. Ever!

As many others, I came for GT and stayed for everything else :) Lovely place.

And I've got to second the notion that it helps with communicational skills. I think my English improved a bit, thanks to GTP 👍
Plus, you can pick up some nice knowledge about cars and motorsports as well.

The GTP forums are my starting site for Firefox, by the way :D

I have to agree with everything posted here.
I came for GT5 and stayed for the endless hours of reading, conversation and debate. I hardly visit the GT forum anymore.
The rumble strip is my home page. Truth. (And I ain't even been here long)

I've been here since October. I found this site by accident. I was looking for Gameshark codes for GT1, and google listed this site. I joined the forum, and boy I'm glad I did. This website is like a drug, I posted little at first, then I had a little more to say, then a lot more. Now I'm on here like 6 hours a day. The rumble strip is the best part of the site. My post per day average went from 0.3 to 3.8. I LOVE GTPLANET! :GTPFLAG: :)
