I might've just regreted buying the Ferrari F2007!

I still haven't found an event that I can actually use it in, and it always gets restricted online, which is annoying me so much at the moment knowing that the car costs 12,500,000 credits. Is there any actual event that I can use the car in?
 
I didnt buy mine. Level 24 ticket is all i needed. Didnt want to waste 22 million for both cars.
 
Asuming you have online, The Ferrari seasonal is still open. It is good fun and you get a good amount of seat time in the car. If you are hell bent on playing online you can start your own lobby for F1 cars, Some times these rooms will fill up and other times noone will enter so it's hit or miss.

I love driving the F1 on Nurb. When a room starts to die a bit i always ask if everyone has a Ferrari F1 and if most people do we have a quick F1 race to get the blood flowing.

This car is not a bad buy it is great to have when the time comes to pull it out.

How much do you earn from that one? At the moment I do the last race in the Honda Civic seasonal event which gets me around 340,000 credits per win.

Around 500,000cr. per race I think, and 120,000 XP. They are fun races but quite long (10 laps each), so are not so good for time/money ratio.

You can also use the engines power limiter to down tune your F2007 to compete in the supercar seasonal.

If you want fast cash, run the Ferarri road car seasonal at La Sarthe. A 3 minute 30 second race gets you 500,000cr.

how much of the game had you played (career-wise) before you noticed you have pretty much no use for it when your not connected online? s
 
you guys are nuts... the F2007 is one of the best racers in the game. i use it on the early seasonal, and i use it for one thing and one thing only: warming up for F1 2011, preordered. ;)
 
Why would you regret buying a Ferrari F1? Sure it is limited in it's use but if you look around you can find a few racing series that feature the Ferrari F1 cars. I am currently in one based out of the Sony forums. I traded for both the F2007 and the F10 before the cap went into effect and I earned the level 24 ticket so I haven't had to buy one of those cars 👍

I didn't know you could use the Ferarri F1s in the other seasonals....Isn't it limited to other f1s?
 
You have to detune it to fit it into other seasonals, and you will be racing a field of the same car that is not detuned.

I got the F2010, and knew what I was getting into beforehand, so it is fine. Plenty of other cars to use in other races.

ok just to clarify things, YOU CANNOT RACE IN ANYTHING EXCEPT THE FERRARI F1 SEASONAL or one make races online or in practice mode.
 
The F2007 and F10 are both fun and easy to drive, much better than the FGT. And as others have said using a level 24 ticket makes acquiring the car pretty painless. The only drawback is the limited use allowed.

I tried it once in the Supercar seasonal and it had no chance of winning. Your car needs to be lowered to half the horsepower and have about 100kg added to the weight, while the other F1 cars have full power and normal weight. I'm sure there are some people out there who can still manage to do well with this challenge but I'm sure not one of them!

That's not true. You can enter them in any Seasonal you can fit the car into regulations-wise. You will just get slaughtered.
 
Hi, I know what you mean, I've got two '07 Ferrari F1's. (I won one somewere in the game). You can howevwer race against other F1 Ferrari's in "arcade mode" and do "time trials" - beat your best time ("practice" on any track in the game) which is pretty cool and also on-line. If you really want to race F1 cars, the new "F1 2011" program is about to be released in September (By Codemasters; they bought the rights to F1. All the tracks, cars and drivers). You're actually lucky to have ANY F1 cars to play with...Have fun.
