I need a good gif. animation program

I am wondering what's the best gif. animation program, and where I can find it?

You need to get adobe photoshop elements 2.0, it's what I use and it's awesome (you can do just about anything with it)

You can't buy ImageReady, it comes bundled with Photoshop.

And ImageReady is overkill making GIF animations. There are a bunch of cheaper GIF animators like Ulead GIF Animator and Jasc Animation Shop.

You can also find a few free ones from places like Tucows, Download.com & Softpedia.com.
