I need advice, HELP!!!

I am gettin pissed over myGT3 game.

In arcade mode it is fine.

In races it is ok.

In Simulation mode, in the garage, IT LOCKS!

every damn time I press up from the newest car it locks.

In this one part of my garage it locks even when i delete the one car it ALWAYS locks on.

The CD is pretty old same as the PS2. I got GT3 as soon as it came out.

There are some very small scratches suppose from putting it in and taking it out of the PS2 so much.

If I gotta replace this disc then I will really be pissed cause I already have to get a NEW Grand Theft Auto3, THAT'L BE MY 4th GTA this within a year!!

1st, I turned in cuz it locked when i saved.
2nd, GAME DOCTOR scratched it all to hell.
3rd, Got swallowed. Door kept closing on it whil I was putting it in.
 
Sounds like a prob with the PS2. If you got your PS2 the day it came out, then the laser will prolly be going bad.

A friend of mine bought his PS2 the day it came out. His is messin up on him now. His no longer plays PSX or PS2 games. All it will play is DVD's.

I would take it to a repair center and see if the lasers bad.

You should see my disc.....it looks like a cat got hold of mine and it runs just fine.
 
Yes, that sounds like a system problem there. That is certainly some bad luck with the game replacements all there. Good luck in finding a solution. I agree with Warped, get it checked out first, then maybe getting a new system will cure your dilemmas...
