My clamps snapped and the vice grips I so intelligently decided to use destroyed a custom made table. I was thinking C-clamps but I don't want to open my G27 just yet to see what I could use without knowing how much room is in there to work with. I remembr a thread with someone who had the same problem but he fabricated the clamps himself I believe. Any tips?

I made a deskmount for my CSR Elite, you could make something simular for your G27

I'm thinking a simplified version of this would be perfect. I'm I take a somewhat thin piece of wood, drill it to mount to the bottom of the G27 base, then use a small block on each end to raise it a bit so the bolts don't touch the desk, and use C-clamps on the sides to hold it in place. Thanks for the idea for that, hopefully it works relatively easily.

Derek Speare has replacement clamps for G25/27.

Recommend his mini-plates for G27 too if you have swapped your rim for an aftermarket as they're plug and play.

I grabbed two small C-clamps from a hardware store and used them. Unfortunately, I can't put the cover back on the base otherwise I wouldn't be able to tighten them to the table. I'm probably just gonna tape the cover back on with some black electrical tape to make it looks somewhat clean still.
