Well it took me til 18, and could've easily taken much longer.
As already said, stay close and don't let your feelings get in the way too much. In time she may start to like you like you like her. And if that never happens hey, at least you still have a good friend. If there aren't feelings both ways and you try something it could (and will) all go horribly wrong and you'll end up losing her as a friend. In the end you'll look back and it will all look like a waste of time and money, cause we all know girls get expensive. When it's time, whether with her or someone else, you'll know, just be patient.

if she puts restrictions of when she can date over love, i would say something isn't right. But, yeah, feel sorry for ya man.
