i have gt5 prologue and in cateogeory b and in the race where u have to over take everyone in 1 lap. i fuiind in impossible. i have alrady tried in about 50 times and highest position i ever cam in was 6th. ANYONE HAVE ANY TIPS OR CAN U CHANGE THE DIFFICULTY LEVEL.PLEASE HELP.

I think I took off the driving aids to give more speed and made sure I used slipstreaming a lot. Having said that I've only got third so far. I assume this is the High Speed Ring race.
 
Get a faster car :)

Edit: lol, you have to use the Integra, sorry for that

I've won it with pro physics and no aids, so it's doable.
Just practise, practise, practise. And if you're done with that, practise some more ;)
 
One thing I did is slip stream every chance you get. On the C class race I found that the slightest bump when I pulled out cost about 1/2 a second by the end of the lap. So slipstream as close to the car in front then pull out and then get into the good air again.

Also check on the gear you are leaving the corners on, are you at your highest speed each time?

Fixed.

He means things like traction control, and every other thing that assists you while driving the car.

Exactly what I did.

To the OP:

Just turn all the aids off and practice for a bit. Mind you, best I've done so far is by coming third as well.
