So.. S event 7 and event 10(the last one anyway) is getting on my nerves.

Now I'm not like many of the pro's here at gtplanet, in fact I'm not very good at all.

So now to my problem with these two.
I've bought and tested the Ford GT LM Test Car, the Blitz R34, Mine's R34, Amuse S2000. Even tried with my Lotus 111R/Tuned. Bought one of these cars, sighed, sighed some more, got pwnd by the AI, reloaded and tested another car. I just can't seem to get above 6th place in neither of these events and the car I use, oddly, just gets completely outrunned on the straights(I'm talking Ford GT LM getting dusted by a Mine's R34 here) and obviously I'm doing something very wrong. And on top of it all I'm holding my driving line when some car rolls up by my side, ramming me out of the track, and I get the 4 second penalty.

I got two major problems with this; 1. I can't decide what car I should buy
2. I need some tuning tips on that car. Nothing major just some pointers.

By the way, I'm driving in Standard physics if that's relevant. Usually with 2-3 in traction control.

Grateful for any tip and in b4 flamers:''olololol u sukcz l2p nowb!!11oen''
I know I do already.

I got 2nd on S-10 with the Amuse S2000 by going to the QT & adjusting it so the weight was as low as possible, I sacrificed power & aero for weight & it worked.

That GT LM is smoking fast in a straight line but slow in the twisties.

I would suggest the Ford GT LM. You don't have to do anything on the setup to finisch those events. But you're right, they are though races.

That's the 700P, right? I did them with my GT-R '07 on standard psysichs.

i used the lotus Elise tuned, with the bhp maxed and the weighted removed to meet the performance points level. this does leave the car very twitchy under braking and the back end likes to step out (i turned on asm to crub as much as possible ... but exhaust pipes still ocassionally like to face forwards), but the great think was it had excellent speed and decent cornering if you didn't push it to far
