I'm having difficulty going any faster than 1'10 on trial mountain and would like to get a replay of someone going faster than 1'10.I will also include a replay so that you can comment on my driving style and maybe help me improve it.

this probably belongs in the challenges and races forums, but it will get more reads here.

It is possible 2 go about 2sek faster with my setup.

Sorry, but i can not give u any replay right now...
But maybe later.:)

I haven't the chance to run it yet, but did look at your settings.

I noticed your running T7's, when you could be running T8's. adjust your rear brakes higher. Your running 18/9 when it should be more like 15/16. Set your ride height o 70/80 and your bound rebound to 6/7 and 8/8. Camber at 2.9/1.6. For your LSD give 9/18/15 a try. With this much power, you may find that torque will wrench the backend loose, lower LSD should help that.

I'll try to post up a replay on Monday.

I actually prefer having the back end loosening up when braking, it allows me to brake at a later time. yeah, the tires are a problem but cuttently the car is just too quick for me to utilize properly with t8's

I will try the suspension settings though.

constuctive criticism I am looking for, single lines that don't help me at all, I am not.

people stagnate and need a good comparison to advance sometimes. just as a scholar need to research to improve his/her knowledge base, so does a racer.

I have stagnated and need another point of view,"figuring it out myself" failed when i hit 1'10.

Bwa ha ha! Great response, milleniumhand.

As an attempt to provide a little of what you are looking for:

Upping your back brake bias will help loosen the car on corner entry. The heavy front bias you seem to be running it should actually tighten the car up under braking.

Each tire has a finite X amount of traction available to it, which is divided between accel/decel force (front to back) and steering force (lateral). The more you use up with throttle (for drive wheels) or brakes, the less is available for steering.

Consequently if you increase the amount of braking being done by the rear wheels (by upping the brake bias number), you decrease the amount of lateral force the rear tires can resist, and you make the car more likely to oversteer under those conditions.

that is understood 100% but to loosen up a car im my preferred manner you must have a low back brake setting

it works like this turn>turn+brake>release steering>let rear push car to desired angle> press gas to mantain boost pressure(if applicable)>release brake> countersteer(if applicable)>accelerate

maybe i can explain this better tomorrow, I'm tired.

OK, no problem, if you know what you're doing, by all means do!

Its as good as any other braking method, but is sure as hell looks cooler than any other method i have ever seen.
the reason for the brakes having to be lower in the back is the front HAS to slow down faster than the back(think of it as an orbit where the sun is the front tires and the planet is the rear the front tries to stay still while the rear moves around it) I guess it would be called 4 wheel braking drift.

on trial mountain i got 1.05.455 WITH drifting, i think i can get a faster time just gripping it. oh yeah, it's with my mistubishi FTO LM edition, the blue one!!

got a replay and a sharkport?

you should go post your times here http://www.racing-line.org

Drift and grip are both racing, if you think you can go faster with grip, then saying that you drifted to get that time is just an excuse.
