i need to know more... can you make another vid with acc and braking input, steering input, speed, and such... it would help alot...

from a first glance i would assume that you were gassing through the entire drift... that is a no no... same with counter steering through entire drift...

in drift a balance of throttle, braking, and steering is used to control the car.

i know that i have described the bascis somewhere on this site... look int he read first things... and then search for something like help with drifting... help... lol... if i find it i will let you know

lol you're lucky that a professional got a chance to see it before anyone else. Yeah geocities took it down already.

? it still works

hmmm, the spinout looks like it was caused by too much throttle but i could be wrong. Were you flooring it all the way? or did you floor it right b4 you spun out? The Trueno has like sorta of a limit to itz angle. It can't get as much drifting angle as other cars. It'll just swing itz back out really fast when you get to that angle limit point. Of course I COULD be completely wrong lol.

from what i could see, you counter-steered too late. i your wheels were facing straight, which caused you to start spinning, then you tried to counter-steer but you were already going around. also pressing the gas too long could have caused this.

but either way, practice will make you a better drifter. keep practicing and eventually you'll get the hang of it.

 actually i have been sitting on my arse all day not even turning gt3 on cept to help sominon try to drift a f1... which is not possible as i found out from you... then i turned it off... OH that is it i am kicking you time to hell... TO HELL...:trouble:

im too lazy to DL it so could u tell me how much HP, and what car it is, ill try adn give u sum settings if they r diff from the ones u already have, but if u floored it b4 u spun out that is also a clue, if floor it out of a drift and u dont have full control, it places all teh traction on the front tires, also, if u think ur about to loose control, try letting off the accel and braking alil' or better yet jsut go into a higher gear, i dunno, but sum more info would b appreciated

I'm no expert on drifting, but I've been there where you're at. Actually, I think I'm still there. But you say you use Dualshock2? Same here. If you're not already comfortable with the pressure sensitivity of the controller, you could try tapping X as someone already said. I've learned to just ease my pressure on the button. Also, try not going counter-steer crazy (or not crazy at all). Or have better settings. Look around.

BTW...I can't say I'm as good as any of you in GT3, so maybe you could share some insight on that darn Apricot lap, Driftster.

I used the AE86 s.s version.... using someone's settings from the depot.... I only have 250 hp using sim tyre...

One more info i would like to add is that I use the d-pad...:)

e-brake isn't necessary in on FR unless you are trying to link 2 drifts that are very far apart. never use the e-brake to initiate your drift...

i do, but if im sliding out towards the edgde, i cant get away from it, im on skyline, sslik tires, 600hp? i think, but wtf, pm me if u can help. i cant get it right
