I need some help in removing some laptimes but before I ask my question it is probably best I explain exactly what I have done and why I want these removed.
I haven't owned my PS3 for very long and the way the online works compared to Xbox live is entirely different. Now this evening a group of us have decided to create a racing team which is something we often did on Xbox 360 racing games. Now I noticed how it wasn't possible to change your PSN ID so instead I created a new user and then set up a whole new account. As I didn't really want to start from the beginning I copied my game save from my other user account onto my new one.
Now my question is if I log in using my original account (IVORBIGUN7) and select delete my times in the option menu, will only the laptimes under this gamertag be removed or will I lose my new times posted on my new gamertag because im using the same game save. This is whats confusing me because im not sure where your laptimes are actually saved i.e server, game save.
Im not sure if this helps but I did notice that when I logged in using my new PSN ID, even though im using the same game save the online credits I had aqquired on my other ID were not on my new ID. One of the main reasons why I want to delete my old times is because I don't want anyone thinking im spamming because the only change I made to my new ID was adding BRC in front of my gamertag. If you look at PP600 Daytona road on the online time trials I now have 1st,2nd position but im sure if someone looked at this they would think im trying to spam hence the reason why I want to delete my old times.
