I need some help, Glitches.

So firstly, A few months ago, I got a fatal "space needed on drive glitch" that needed a game data reset, but I kept my save file. I kept my data on 1.00, so I didn't have to use up my download usage (Stupid Australia) and now I have finally decided to reset to 1.12. Today, I tried to get into my X2010, and it didn't let me in. It is only doing it with certain cars, (one of my go karts have done it as well) and it's not letting me go in and choose it, even from the triangle menu. What do I do????? has anyone else encountered this problem?
 
Are the cars you're trying to select set to 'share with friends'?
 
No. They are not set to share with friends. When you try to open it, the screen goes black and loads the GT Life menu.
 
Welcome to the black screen of GT5, where the only avoidance is reseting your game. It happens at random times, some permanent, some not. This is one of the biggest issues with the game.


The loading part about GT Mode though is something I haven't heard before. May have to look into this myself and do some research on it.
 
Try re-installing the game.
 
I upgraded my PS3 to 500 gigs for like $50. You should do the same. Make sure you're able to return the drive if it doesn't fit since the PS3 slot only takes the thinnest laptop drives.
 
This happened to me with a few cars. I was sponging and bought a car with 1.00, when I went back to 1.10 it did the same thing you described. My solution was to just let the car be and I haven't had any problems since.

That's hardly a solution lol, just avoiding the issue so it doesn't happen...the problem is still there
 
I'll just reset to 1.00, but first I'll use my formula gran turismo to B-spec some more and get the added xp patched in. I think, (speculation) that the game in 1.12 has realised that the black screen is a problem and instead of the old method of [freezing?] it just resets back to the main menu. Thanks for your help though :) BACK UP YOUR SAVES!!!! I wish I did :(

Well for me the only time I have problems with it is when I try to select the car, luckly it was a one from the NCD so I just bought a new one. To me its just a broken down car that will never be used again.
 
It does that to me with my 205 Rally car and (Worstly) Arcade mode. Come on, I just want to race against some AI that ACTUALLY challenge me.
