thanks for the reply, so if i get one of those resistors and solder it on it should work fine againIt's a 10k ohm resistor, they're very common. You don't have to replace it with an SMD type resistor (though you'll have to be creative about how you wire the new one in), you can use a through hole version instead, but you can't buy just one unless maybe your local Maplin has a parts desk. If you know any electronics hobbyists they'll definitely have one you can have, if not I usually buy stuff like this from here.
ok thanks for all the help, im so happy il be able to use my g27 againYeah, those would work but if you can get 0.125W resistors they'll be a bit smaller.
