I stated in another thread I'm working on a top down racing game. The engine is almost complete but I still need to tweak it out for diffrent effects i'd like to add, and maybe a drifting game mode (maybe...) but for now, its grip...

Anyways, Right now, I'm running out of ideas to make it intresting, FAST... So far, i'm thinking...

Real Life Tracks
Real Life Cars
Simulation Upgrades, Like GT

But I cannot think of anything else!!!

Thanks for helping

how about, having a 'stunt mode' where you have jumps, or 'Sprint mode" where you drift/ power slide on dirt tracks.

Also you may want to check out some of the 'what you hate about GTx' and 'if you could edit any track..' type threads here, if you haven't already.

What kind of game is it, flash style, or shockwave, or a more integrated stand-alone style game.

Just an idea, maybe you should schedule a day & time, where you can get a handful of people online, to have a sort-of brainstorming session thread. First see if you can get, a bunch of people to commit helping-out, FYI- I'm in, what graphic work do you need done??

PS- If you have a Stunt mode, you can jump Busses, just to make CNG happy...lol

Haha awesome, No, No internet stuff for this game, Its going to end up as a stand alone .exe

And if you want to pm me your MSN or AIM, we can chat and come up with some ideas!

How about adding sense of speed.

what kind of game do you want to make?:
- easy to control but need quick reaction
- hard to control
- require key combo
- require good timing
- require multi tasking
- require strategy
