Ok... Your all going to probably rag on me for this but how do I drift. Every one on the drift videos make it seem so easy. So what do i need in terms of best and easiest car to use and what do I need in terms of set up. I kno there are drift setting but i just buy the car that has the setting and the only thing that happens when i try to drift is i start to do it and either spin out or i cant even drift becuase im always peeling out. Plus i usually have to use th E-Brake to slide.:banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

practice with a FD(aka Rx7) on sims and try to read all the drift faqs

yeah u guys kinda look the same, back to the question.
try asking some of these ppl for tips
battle stage
pergatory
silvia drifter
bengee
shadow drifter
ill try to come up with some more

if you want to be good... learn to drift BY YOURSELF...
if you really want to learn, you'll be able to drift eventually.

many people learn by "copying" others and then make minor changes and call it their own style...

if i can do it... you can:)

Good point, 95% of the knowledge involved in drifting can be gained simply by drifting. The rest is just terminology and physics, which aren't really necessary but do help a lot.

Hmm.... well I got my own settings at my web site if anyone wants to look at them. www.freewebs.com/gbpd
I learned how to drift by my self too... I got mad when I messed up but I profected my skill by watching the videos that others made.
And I watch Initial D so it helps me to....kinda....

Practice. I wouldn't use other people's settings. I find its easier if you set the car up the way you want to. Alot of people like put alot of camber in the front, but I like it better with the stock camber settings. The only advice is to read some of the tutorials, and practice, practice, practice

At the top of the page is a thread called READ THIS BEFORE YOU POST (i believe)... you can look in there for most likely all the info you could possibly want that involves drifting... videos and faqs and settings all linked in one place... have fun drifting :D
