I cannot fint ANY decent FF car to use for the Professional Race! I have tried the Celica TRD, Xara Rally Car, Beetle and a lot more! Any suggestions? PS I am 73% complete with 3 endurance races under my belt. I have cars that can woop A**! on Endurances, not FF! (Nor the ALTEZZA amature for that matter):)

Wow - you've tuned these things right up? I had no trouble with either of these races. What tyres you got?

the FTO GP Version R is what i used for those races. tuned of course, and still won when the tires wore out on lap 10(medium soft or something).
now that's a challenge. :)

Well, I just finished this off in a tuned TRD Celica.

It must be your driving style - the style needed is completely different to that needed for FR and AWD.

You will need to be very careful in application of power as the car will understeer rather than oversteer in the way an FR will.

Cheers Mate! I will just have to stick at it with the TRD Celica (with Medium Soft tyres). I have also discovered 'My Baby', the ZZ11 with a stage 3 Turbo. 930BHP and handling like a dream, this beaut' is taking me all the way!!

Honda Civic type R or the Spoon Civic Type R.

I did it in the TRD Celica as well. Makes for pretty replays (:

I used the TRD Celica with Slicks or Super Slicks and didn't pit. I think the Civic Type R pitted on the 10th lap.

what are u talking bout bro???

the ZZ2 is a 4wd car....

i used the Honda iNtegrA 98-spec JDM with 477 HP!!!

that will get u very far!!!!

and besides it all depends on driving skillz, i did the first race in Deep Forest with my Xsara rally racer and one by over 30 seconds....

pit strat is key too!! :)

good luck bro!

Does putting superhard slicks on and comfortably running the laps without stopping count as a strategy?:)

You may not believe it but I use a fully tuned Mini to win the FF races. It was a bit difficult but it's fun to drive if you can conserve its momentum.

I have a list of races to try with different cars after I get 100% and that is actually on there!

The Civic Type R is IMPOSSIBLE to get over 140, and it accelerates so slowly. I just got it for FF races.

Cheers, very helpful information :)

When I mentioned my baby, the ZZ2 I meant not for the FF races, just for a super car to use! Just completed the amature 80s race with MX-5 and also the Red Emblem with a 1003BHP R34 tune. Woo-hoo! Now, halfway thru the Pro Yaris Race. I keep meaning to try the TRD on the FF. Later.
