I saw a thread a few days back saying that when loading a race the top bar with all the different cars going across would start skipping and the loading time would be extremely slow. I experienced this today when loading an arcade race. I can't remember exactly what the other thread said but I think guy lost his data. So when this happened I instantly exited the game and backed up my Save Data. Did I do the right thing? Should I be worried about it?
 
That's what you needed to do.

The game froze for a minute when I exited a track, then it continued to work, but it didn't fully freeze. It never happened to me before the way it did, so I went ahead and backed up my game save. Everyone should go ahead, and DO IT NOW!!
 
I think that's something that everyone needs to do on let's say a weekly basis. Because of you loose it one day then you have to start ALL OVER AGAIN.
