I never play anymore

Well obviously you've got a reason why you haven't played it for the longest time.

And he felt opinionated enough to share it...

I've had about 20 minutes on the PS2 in a that last couple two weeks.
My wife got the wild hair that it was time to sell the house and move to a larger house.
Well, she called around and got the loan in place.
Now we have to sort thru 12 years of crap, and get this house ready to sell.
We've been at it since last Saturday, and I can't remember the last time I went to bed not sore.

Hmmm... Is that because she's happy about moving to a new house :O , or because you're moving heavy objects?

:D

I bet it's both!

I almost never play it myself. It's gotten too boring for me. I used to play 12 hours a week, I loved it that much, but not anymore. I've played it for about 10 hours in the past four months, or so. We need new tracks to make the game fun again.

i ahevnt played too much ps2 lately because i got mid-semester exams coming up

I'm in the same boat as Lifters. I'm on 98% complete, but there's just no enthusiasm to finish the game.

I still haven't finished GT-3 & I've gotten board with it a while ago. It's just in time for GT-4, though.

Worse than that, I realised that during the last 2 months I even spent more time playing GT2 than GT3.

i really got into gt2, non stop playing, getting up at 2 in the morning to do an endurance race then going back to sleep to get up at 7 for school :D but gt3 i really couldnt be bothered, especially after the second time i completed it getting every car in alphabetical order :scared: i did pick gt3 up recently cos i had no other game to play and wanted to try my hand at drifting

I started playing it again only because I got a DFP for xmas from a good friend. It was a surprise gift, and it's made the game so much more fun, I actually want to complete it now where before I could care less.

Playing with the wheel has given me a lot of practice and I've become much better than I ever was with the DS2, I even got my super lisence in about an hour, where before when I was playing I couldn't come close to passing one of the tests.

Now I'm concentrating on the Time Trials... Stuck on TT10 :(

I play it less and less nowadays. All I do are the Enduros to get back into it. Think I'll start the S licence as that's all I need to complete along with the S challanges.

Haven't played any GT game for about 6 months now.

I even sold off my old ps2 with all the games I got about 4 months ago. Gaming isn't that fun anymore to me. A few weeks ago I bought a pstwo though and are now awaiting GT4. It'll probably be the last game I ever play. Seriously. I'll do it just for old times sake.

I remember telling my mom that I wouldn't need another gaming console when I got a SNES. Guess I was wrong. You'll come around. If not, I think it's time to go have a physical. Something has got to be seriously wrong with you. :dopey:

Well, things change and people change. I used to play very much games but I don't find it interesting, or even boring these days. I'm way past my teen years, in the 30's now.

I know this is where I'm going. playing games don't give me the satisfaction it used to give anymore. Interests have turned other directions, mainly social.

But then, as you say I have no idea where the future will go. Mabye when I'm retired, grayhaired, alcoholic and slightly dement I'll pick this (previously for me) asocial interest up again.

But as said, I still have a craving for GT4. How intense it'll get me playing it is hard to say at the moment though..

:)

I do a race every now and then, but long series take too much of my time.

I'm running the PD cup in an Acura NSX (anyone else used it instead of the Honda?), but I'm 6 races in, and it's been about 4 weeks since I started it. At this rate it's going to be another month until I finish it.

Let's just say my second helping of GT3 has me a lot less enthusiastic. I'm about 30% done since I began it in September, but I've really lost much interest in finishing it.

I also took a long break from the gt series especially when gta San Andreas came out. But now with GT4 coming out I have gotten back into the "driver seat" to hone my skills.

Wohooo, I finally beat TT10 last night. I guess all I needed was a break from it, I passed it on my 4th try :) Now I just have the remainder of the hard arcade races to do. Those will be easy :)

If you're concerned with the minimal amount of time you're spending with Gran Turismo, perhaps you should get involved in the Weekly Race Series. They have a lot of fun and force you to explore certain aspects of the game you might not otherwise have taken advantage of.
