Separate account to start over, keep the other account. It was so fun just to start fresh,no sesonals or borrowing cars quite a challenge.I did this because I haven't been able to sigh in for about 2 weeks now,and counting and I was getting bored with buying more cars and doing races with fast cars so I made a second account......tell me if this is a smart idea or what..

Copying what I'm doing huh? ;)

Yes it is a great idea, I just did it last night and I can say I am really enjoying it. I didn't even save all the old save, I just completely started over. :D

I think I'm gonna start all over again, too. As like your situation on the "Should I..?" thread, the cars I used were a bit "meaningless" sometimes. While I do admire my car collection, it always felt a bit that way. And not just that, but the way I started the game. Maybe a complete do-over will return that meaning that once existed.

I'm still gonna save the save, though :p

I don't see the point...

But I also like the trophy animations and music, didn't see one for a long long time.

I personally think you should do it. If you do so buy a '97 Honda Civic Type R from the NCD, it's the best way to start off IMO.

Each to their own, I found the game refreshed after I left it alone for 2 months and played some of my backlog.

It's so fun right know my cars are Tue Suzuki swift 07,mitsubishi evolution new 1,Fsi quattro I am almost doin the same thing I'm not online so no sesonals events its better

The most awsome way to make it even harder is use the 1st car from start to finish.

My first car for this account was the Suzuki swift 07

NOT HAPPENING, I put a ton of time into this game. Offline the game has been stale for a few months, which is why I host races 3 nights a week. When that got a little old I built a homemade racing rig.

I guess my point is DIVERSITY is key:tup:

Yes,I would have been playing my main account and owning people online but I can't get online for a while

i've been working my way through the game with my alt. acct for some time now. Primarily to earn the special tickets and the level 5, 12's etc.

I'm up to level 28 a-spec & 36 b-spec.

plus it's another UCD to get cars from for your main acct.

I suppose it's a good idea for refreshing yourself and seeking another satisfaction if you have time to spare for GT5, exciting to start the game all over again unless you get the data on your first account corrupted..

I think I may do this also, but as one poster said i will definitely keep my original save.

Don't see the appeal. GT Life is just something you have to do anyway, there's limited fun in that. Once you have the cars you can look at them, take pictures of them, read the descriptions, work on their setup, try them with different tires or upgrades, hotlap them, race them online, race them in arcade mode, do some of the less-annoying A-Spec "chase the rabbit" events over again, whatever you like. That's where the fun is.

And I don't want to have to do the Licenses or any B-Spec races over again.

I run two accounts. I started the second after I got to lvl 30 on the first. It is good fun to be able to switch between them, depending on what level of racing I feel like at the time.
That and, as I complete events the first time, I take note of how I would like to do them different the second time around, while still progressing, instead of just grinding. I do not share cars between the two, and try to keep the garages as different as possible, in order to maximize the variables of the game.

on my 3rd account, nvr borrowed a car tho :S
i just find it getting easier and easier every time i start over

Totally into this. I did it after I bought a wheel - I'd done so much of the game already it just seemed like the obvious thing to do.

I did something like this starting a few months ago.

Set up an account for the wife. She runs the B spec, and I run the A spec.
