I regret to announce the passing of my grandfather

Hello Everyone, I do realize this may not be of your greatest concern, but I regret to announce, my grandfather passed away at 2PM this afternoon. He was a kind and funny character, never arrogant or selfish. He will be dearly missed.

I'd just like to say

Rest In Peace, Arthur Price.

Deeply sorry for your lose.

Sadly last week at 11:00AM on Friday the 12th my Grandfather passed away. It's not a nice experience to go through and I am still recovering over the whole thing. My condolences to you and your family.

Condolences to both of you and your families, Alex and Adam.

It's never easy to lose someone, especially someone who was still able to enjoy life. I remember the last time I saw my grandfather, knowing that there was a chance I wouldn't see him again. We had a whisky together, chatted and even watched a bit of touring cars on the TV, and he was (as they say) in fine form. Sadly, he was taken back to hospital soon after that and passed away a few days later while I was here in London. However, he enjoyed a very happy life with a loving family around him, and he was (and still is) a source of inspiration. That's one thing you'll never lose is the influence your grandad has had on you. 👍

My grandfather died before I was born, and I never knew my other grandfather very well, but I offer condolences also.

thankyou, my dad was discussing them (my grandma and grandfather) and mentioned they were the nicest people he ever met. not a bad thought in their bones.

sorry to bore you with things that arent your concerns but itl take a couple of weeks to get over this

Condolences to you and your family Alex, we all know how sad it is to lose someone close to you... :(
 
I lost both my grandads when i was a teenager but I still remember them both and the way they were 👍

My condolonces guys :( .. and a few drinks occasionally to the passed away loved ones shows they are still in your heart :cheers:

I have yet to lose somebody close, but it was even tough to see my best friend lose his grandfather.

I'm one of those people who can't say "I know how you feel" because I've never lost a family member. But I'm really sorry to hear that, and I will pray for you.

Far from it. The passing of a loved one is always an incredibly emotional time, and I, for one, am glad you created this thread to share your sorrow. There will always be someone who is willing to listen.

My condolences to your family and you. I have lost a grand-father as well to lung cancer. Death always seems to be so distant, and yet several years after, the pianist for my school's choir passed away from cancer. Though he was 54, it was his prime; he loved everyone, and everyone loved him.

Take care of yourself, Alex.
 
My condolences, my grandfather is still alive, but very old. I'm scared of the day he passes. :nervous:
