Yes, the last couple of days I have seen this same Lambo running around town. This is amazing as you almost need a 4x4 to get around my small town here in Montana. I've actually seen this car on 3 separate occasions.

The first time it was going the opposite direction as I on the Highway, but as it passed I was like, "was that a.....why, why yes it was a Lamborghini....DUDE!!!!".

The second time I saw it, it was in town just cruising around. I was with my wife and made her follow the car around town for a bit. It was funny to watch all the guy's reactions around town as this thing drove around. Every time it made a turn I was in love with it's lines.

The third and last time I saw it was in the drive through at Dairy Queen...that's right, the Diablo was getting a ice cream cone. Now who in their right mind would get a ice cream to eat IN THE LAMBO! Not on my shift.

Anyways, pretty sure it was a Diablo.....it looked like a Diablo and you could definitely hear the v12 rumbling... It was almost a brownish metallic silver with aftermarket rims and wheels with the center dual rear exhaust. Man this thing was awesome.... I had my Phone Camera with me all three times and not once did I think of taking a picture of it. I was, well...too caught up in the moment.

Anyways, just wanted to share. I didn't have a picture of it or else I would have posted in the "See anything good" thread.

I was heading back to my house and looked in my rear view mirror and there he was....following me now. Maybe he was playing tag..., anyways, I actually got a shot which does absolutely no justice to this car but will probably merge this in the other thread. Here it is:

Your so lucky! Unfortunetly, I never actually saw a real Lamborghini in my life. I've seen plenty of Ferraris and Porsches though. You always have to stop and take a good look at them once you spot one. I remember actually touching a Ferrari once. I just brushed past a parked one and to my suprise, it was a Ferrari! That made me feel nearly unconcious...

One of my dreams is to own a Ferrari or a Porsche sometime in my life. The sheer enjoyment of driving a mint-condition Ferrari Mondial or Porsche 944 would just be georgeous.

Pako, thanks for sharing the experience with us!

Yeah its a special moment seeing a Lambo. Couple of months ago I saw a Diablo go through my town just quickly at night and that thing was so sound. I just stopped and watched until I couldn't see it anymore.

Saw a yellow Diablo last weekend:D It is pretty special when you see one, more special than any other car.

I'd be seeing several "something specials" every other day then, there's a Lamborghini dealership not far from me, and a Ferrari one, and a Maserati one and a specialist car's showroom that sell's anything from low volume sportscar's to US imports. I guess on that front I'm lucky to see all these car's quite regular. There's a car audio shop round the corner almost from my house, the owner of that has a Countach a Ferrari Dino and a nice big classic Roll's parked outside every day.

Same thing happened to me last year bro. There was a blue Lamborghini at our MEIJER parking lot. I figured he had to be lost for sure because that is not a car you see around my area. I live in a good neighborhood and about 5 miles from the rich neighborhood but stilll. Not something we ever see especially since our roads are absolutely horrible here in Michigan. I took pics of it but im not sure where they are at. I have only seen 2 or 3 in my entire life.

I see exotics all the time. Perks of living 8 miles away from Foreign Cars Italia, I suppose. I never get any good pictures, I'm usually too busy trying to get them to put their cars to use :)

Yup, I used to live near a dealership, so I've seen quite a few. The Ferrari dealership was closer though so I saw more of those. I'd have to say I like the looks of the lambos much better than ferrari. I passed a diablo on the highway not long ago and I just remember gawking at the crazy profile. That's one wild looking car. It gets your eye from pretty far away.

I always used to walk home from Prahran to Hawthorn when I lived on campus studying - ALWAYS taking a hefty detour to pass the Lambo dealership...

Recently, I've taken to detouring home from a mate's place regularly - past the Aston Martin dealership... :drool:x2!

Mind, there is something MUCH more special about seeing one of these cars being drivin in real life, on a real street. It's much cooler seeing one randomly, and more importantly - running! In the dealership through the window (or at a motorshow) is only really marginally better than a poster on the wall (kinda more like a static object still - not released into the world)... but walking past one parked on the street - much cooler.

Porsches are a dime a dozen where I live, I don't even look anymore, sad I know. I still look at Ferraris though. :)
I look at Aston's more however, so sexy, and seemingly rarer to spot than even a lambo... I've actually had a yellow Murceialago (apologies - spelling?!) parked just outside my apartment a couple of times! The second time I was almost blase about "oh yeah that Lambo is there again, nothin' special, see it all the time..." ;)

Hehehe...

It must be a really small town to see the same car 3 times in a couple of days!

I saw a lambo on teh way to go-karting in Yorkshire, wish I'd had that 4wd that day.

ive only seen a lambo once...it was a diablo and my jaw was dropped to the ground. it was at a rest stop and as soon as the guy got out, i was there...drooling (figurativly, not literally)...damn what a gorgeous car.

I've never seen any Lambo in person. I've seen a Ferrari and plenty of Porsches. I have seen a Lotus Esprit and I could possibly have a picture of it somewhere.

Nice Find!

Lambo's are really really nice to see in person. So far in my lifetime I've seen:

- 2 Diablo's, one at an auto show, one in person at a hotel parking lot, it was a black Diablo VT

- 1 Murcielago, on the highway in Italy

- 2 Gallardo's, one on the highway in Italy, and one in the town where I live in Canada (I've seen the local one a few times, it's very nice)

And you're gonna hate me for this but..

- 1 Countach 5000S in white, at hotel in Switzerland   . And I also watched him as he drove off by me, the V12 sounded beautiful.

I don't hate you for that, I see an LP400 almost every day and a Ferrari Dino :D.

If I want I can go and see several Murcielago's and Gallardo's and a yellow Muira whenever I want to as well. I used to see an Enzo pretty often too, and more recently an MC12, the Enzo got sold a good while ago and the MC12 I presume was sold a bit more recently but I haven't seen it for a while.

But the one's I see are mainly in dealerships.

Somebody in my hometown has a new Gallardo. I see it often when I'm there visiting my parents.

I once saw a Murcielago AND a Diablo looking for a parking spot in the parking lot of a mall (South Coast Plaza). That was the best trip to the mall ever.

But out of all the cars you see on the road, the Diablo just has that presence of it.

When I see an Aston or a Ferrari or one of the newer Lamborghinis, I go "Awww!"
When I see a Diablo, I go "Holy ****, that thing is awesome!"

I haven't heard a Lamborghini or any other car today that matches the Diablo's V12 sound.

As PunkRock once said, it's orgasmic and you know the engine when you hear it.

I thought I hadn't seen a Lambo until just recently, but I just remembered that I had seen a black Countach from across the street, back in late 80's or early 90's.

Anyway, few years ago, I thought I was witnessing my first Lambo, a Diablo, WAY ahead of me on the morning commute on the freeway. Naturally, I get up to over 90 mph to catch up to this thing(it was right before my exit). Turns out it was a frickin' kit car. :guilty:

Probably a year or two later, I finally saw a Countach in a parking lot. It was the extremely limited 25th Anniversary Edition, which is very rare in the States. Now, Pako's surprised to see it in DQ, one I saw was at K-Mart, dude! Owner came out of the store and caught me circling around it, looking like this:  We chatted little bit, he was very cool.

My second close encounter was a Diablo and it was also weird. It was at some crappy house's driveway, I think it was next to a lowered Civic! Oregon's pretty weird, I guess......

I've seen one Diablo on the street. It was in New York City in front of some resturant or club. I've seen a bunch of Murcilagos(sp?) and Gallardos, though.

I don't mean to be an as*hole but i see one like every week down here in florida. It figures with all the retierd ppl.I just saw a ****ach(sp) at a body repair shop. And a Merialago at a McDonalds drive thru.A Gallardo on the highway.U practically see them all here in florida. Its not uncomon to see nice cars speed past u.My dad just sold a Roush Mustang which was pretty fast wooot woot to him lol!

Thanks for contributing that experience.

I think that "Buddy" from the movie "The Incredibles" said it best...."If everyones super then no one will be super".

It must be a very rare site to see a Lambo, specially a Diablo in Montana, since there is more people in the Bay Area, then in Montana, (or almost) Your a lucky man, i've never seen a Diablo on the road, but i have in various other places (car shows) But i have seem just about every other Lamborghini on the road  Not all, but a good majority of them. I love the way Lambos sound, to me there my favorite cars to listen to, other then a super moded tuner :D

I've seen a dark blue Murcielago at a dealership once, I walked right up to it and it actually seemed smaller than I imagined it to be from photos of it. But I do love that car and the LP640 would be one of the few supercars I'd be interested in owning. I've also seen a few Gallardos, two yellow ones (at different times and different places but I guess they could be the same one) and a silver one.

I see a yellow Murcielago running around town every once in a while. Same with an orange Gallardo...And the red Ford GT that just so happens to be modified. I guess it helps to live 5 minutes from a country club.

I've only seen two Lambos in my life...

the 1st one: A black Lamborghini Diablo V12 parked in the driveway of a house in Freeport, NY

The 2nd and the most memorble one : I was on my way to New Jersey, bored as hell sitting in the back seat of my uncle's car, in the middle part of the Verrazano Bridge, I was lost in space looking at the waves of the river when all of a sudden, A powerful frightful engine roared as a White and blue Lamborghini COP CAR passed slowly by me  , it was a beautiful moment and I think I even heard the choir of the angels from heaven when the super machine interrupted my view of a dull river and horizon. As expected, I made my uncle follow the car through the rest of the bridge and sadly, the Lambo took a different exit when outside the bridge. (towards Elizabeth Blvd. I can still recall) and from that moment, boredom was gone and all I could think was, how lucky that officer was of getting to drive a Lambo as his unit.

I didn't have a camera at the moment :ouch: , hate when those things happen, but it doesn't matter, because to me, that's a picture that will always be stamped in my memory for EVER...

Ciao....

Oh man, the sound of those engines causes a secretion of the saliva glands. Can't imagine being a Cop getting to drive one of those....I would want to get picked up just to get a chance to ride in one... :)

Of all the exotics, nothing beats a Lambo for sheer charisma and presence.

There's a Guards Red 996 GT2 in my town I see from time to time. An F430. A couple of Modenas. A Z8. A Bentley Continental. A wicked looking black Viper SRT-10.

But when I see a Murcielago or Diablo or even a Countach, they just seem somehow so much more dramatic visually. Nothing comes close. Not even a Ferrari. Even though I'd rather have the Ferrari, I'd still have to say Lamborghini has the market cornered when it comes to "shock and awe".

Semi-funny story. I was at the Rolex 24 a few years ago and this young dude drives through the infield in a red Diablo. He had the windows down and this little blonde in the passenger seat. They stop at the taped off corral (forgot which one it was--it may have been the Viper corral) and the young man starts talking to someone to get his car in.

Meanwhile, I'm just gawking at the car --my buddy just walks up to the Diablo, leans over with his arm on the roof and starts chatting up this guy's girl!

A couple of seconds later the guy says to my buddy, "hey careful with your watch!" Imagine the most disdainful way you can talk to someone and you'd be about right. They exchange a few more words and finally the guy's like "just back off bro".

My buddy steps back while the guy revs the Diablo a couple of times--- and promptly stalls it.

Then the poor thing wouldn't start.

Finally after couple more attempts, he coaxes the Lambo to start and putters into the grassy taped off parking area, leave behind a snickering crowd.

Not that I have anything against Lambo owners. I just that it was semi-funny..

Actually got a shot of it lastnight. Edited original post. This guy must go through hundreds of gallons every month driving around... I've seen him everywhere.
