I seem to know nothing about drift :/

Hey, i've bin playin gt2 for a while now and im gonna grab a copy of gt3 but all i hear is drift, drift, drift. how do you execute is what i wanna know :/. ive always driven without skidding as much as possible except for the occasional slip around for a bit of fun but it just seems so much slower. can someone give me a comprehensive drift explanation and how2 for a begginer?

u can use the search button and find many explanations on what a drift is in these forums....

sig down below, and check Cudaman and Pergatory's drift instructions, as well as the Drifting for Dummies page thats on here somewhere. And as Battle_stage so elequently put, speed is not the point.
