Hi. I'm Mika

Here's the deal. I consider myself to be ... rather good at GT4. And so does one of my other friends. So we set a challenge. And we posted it on a forum we frequent.

The challenge was this:

Deep Forest forwards.

Nismo 32 GTR S-Tune.

The car must be left stock, unmodified, untouched in every way (except driving aids which could be turned on or off).

The challenge was to take place in GT mode, not arcade mode.

Those who chose to participate in the race were also told that your best lap time had to be a clean lap. I.e. no corner cutting etc.

I posted a fastest time of 1.22:453

I only ever had my wheels on tarmac or aprons. I did not cut any corners, I had perfect race lines, I was pushing the car fairly hard (as a racer does).

Now I know I could maybe get at the most, another half a second of out this car / track combination. But somebody on the forum posted that they performed a 1:20.008. He said it was a clean lap.

I found this very hard to believe. So I call upon you ! (the GT enthusiasts with varied abilities and skills) to set your lap times with the above track, car and conditions.

My other friend who also started the challenge with me set a time of 1:24.110 (my first good time being that of a 1:24.050 set within a 5 lap session).

I spent at most.... 45mins getting my time of 1:22.453.

Race on ;)

whoops. sorry :P I'm not a noob when it comes to forum usage. But I forgot to move it to the spot race area which I was reading before.

Thanks for the welcome anyways ;)

just to be sure did you put new oil in the car? becuse i have made cars go faster around tracks by adding it. also this is a imposible time then again you sould try costa di amalif (normal) my time:)

not sure. it was in my garage. it could have had the oil changed before hand as I had driven it before. so yes, most likely.

also which time is impossible? the 1.20 or the 1.22 I did?

both times, the best time i have had was 1:23.5 but then again i dident have oil, and i had traction on, so i will try your time again race for a hour and see my time after i push the car to engine explosion:)

I kept to stock and also never touched the settings (ride height/camber etc). I did however adjust the driving aids slightly (never normaly use them though) and managed a 1'20.923 after a 30 min session. So yes, a 1'20.008 is possible IMO.

Used standard OLR driving rules.

Care to post a link to the challenge?

Hope this helps
