Here's something fun ^_^
Instead of drifting all the conventional ways, try initiating your drift by holding down reverse. It's pretty fun and makes a silly sound when you do it. :D Try it out everyone!

I tried it on Laguna seca with the R34 and the car started spinning like crazy.... the car literally turned into a hurricane. I think it was like 5spins/second

Hmm... I'm practicing with my ZZII... you can't hold it down for long and you still might have to brake before the turn.

yeah... other than a bad case of killing your trany if this was real life it's not any kind of drifting it's one of those things I did when I would panic because I went in way to hot and I'd try to slow my self down quick only to find that I was doing a big ass kiss into the wall... You wanna see a crazy ass (oh sorry azz) spin hold down reverse and e-brake... then see what you get. :banghead:

Ive been using that technique for a while but only on the tarmac sections of rally courses. It sure gets those pig steering Evos & Imprreza Rear ends to start turning into the corners.

I've tried this technique with the Lancer Evo RS it works pretty well sometimes but all it does is slow you down and cause you to downshift a gear or two depending on how long you hold it.

If you brake hard enough to stop the tire rotation to all four tires then shift into reverse you can save your tranny from excessive stress.

I have used reverse mid drift many times. Like when ive slowed too much or turned in wrong and i know im gonna hit the inside wall, i just hold reverse and the car drifts wider but keeps speed decently. Works like a charm.
