Hi all, i bought this game a couple months ago, put it in the PS3 and its still in the PS3, not even once i played another game.

I have gold medals for all licences and specials with a DS3, finished all A-spec events up to the extreme events and i am level 27 now. Now i can play the endurance events but i wont, simply because there is no save option, also i dont want to leave my PS3 on for when i have time again to play.

B-spec its just not for me, very boring, tried it couple of times and got to level 2, but it just takes ages so i wont touch that again.

Its been 3 days that i played gt5 and before i got to a stop i played it almost every day, now i feel like there is not much to do i mean nothing more to play.

Im really thinking to sell the game but then again i might regret it, maybe there will be a patch soon with options to save the game for the endurance series. I bought this game mainly for the single player part, tried online but dont like it much, maybe its better now. Also the seasonal events tried it but dont like it.

Maybe i missing out some parts of the game i dont know, thats why im posting here to get some fresh ideas and motivation to continue playing the game.

Thanks for reading 👍

Seasonal Events + GT Academy should keep you busy for a while. 👍

The first 3-4 endurance races take around 2 and a half hours to complete (except for the 4hr Miata Race). I'm sure you've sat and played GT5 consecutively for that amount of time or more. Why not try an endurance race? Winning the Indy 500 Mile in A-Spec give you the Jaguar XJ13 Race Car, which is a sweet ride. Since it costs 20 million credits to buy, it's worth the 2.5 hours of play time.

If you only bought the game for the satisfaction of 'completing' it then it sounds like you have nothing more to get from it. But I have to say you picked pretty much one of the worse games to play like that.

Do you not enjoy just driving? Striving to get that perfect lap?

whats your completion %?
also a few of the endurance events are only 2 hours long so you could free up a Saturday and play on your ps3 for 2 hours.

Also online if you can find a room that isn't full of Internet thugs and losers in general.

how on earth did you buy it a couple months ago when it was released in November?

I think you should join a league, where there is fair and close racing.

Sorry to deprive everyone of a chance to contribute - but I don't see this discussion going anywhere.

We have entire forums dedicated to various different aspects of the game, and so a simple look around the forums ought to show you what more to the game there may be that may have escaped your notice thus far.

At the end of the day, GT5 is just a game and you can make as much or as little of it as you want - it's up to you. But no amount of someone telling you how much they love the game is ever likely to make you love it. If you are already bored with it after a couple of months, it's probably not a bad idea to move on and play something else for a bit.... you can always come back to it later.
