i think i might have a problem!!!

i just put in the full garage cheat, i now have every car in the game (722), but when i go to arcade mode, i only have 447 cars, idk if thats all it can hold, or what???, can some body tell me if this is wrong.

I think you have to use a seperate cheat for all arcade mode cars.

The cheat gives you all of the cars in your simulation garage, but they won't be unlocked in arcade mode until you've driven them in simulation mode. Every single one. At least once.

It has something to do with how the cheat device gives you the cars...you didn't actually "get" them, you just all of a sudden have them. They won't be recognized in Arcade mode until you've proven to the game that you have such-and-such car.

It can hold all your cars, up to 1000, but since you cheated....

Actually, even driving each of those cars in GT Mode will not make them appear in the Arcade Mode.

The only thing you can do to make cars appear in the Arcade mode is to actually purchase or win the cars (legitimately).

My suggestion is to make a cheat account with no cars and tons of money, then take the time to buy every car possible (getting into each car after you buy it, then moving onto the next car and repeating the process).

This will unlock all the tracks in both game play modes (eventually).

So basically, you can't get anything into arcade mode without buying or winning the car in GT Mode.

Simply getting all the cars into GT mode through a cheat will not unlock them in Arcade mode (and driving each one of those "cheated-cars" will not do anything elther).

Good luck with the problems, I had to deal with them myself at one point and eventually I went with the mega-Cr. account instead of the all cars account.

Buy the car, "get in" the car, move on and buy the next one. 👍
That will unlock the cars in arcade mode.

Hah You do not deserve them, so don't be a lazy ass and win your cars, you make the people that take F1 cars to the beginer ciruit look like gods. I'm pretty sure peopel don't want to here your complaints when you use a cheat so you can get everythin, you are a bad example of a GT4 driver.

Maybe like me he's just not in a position where he has time to complete the game and unlock all the cars. I'll never get 100%, I'll never be able to drive cars like the black F1 or the Bentley Speed 8, I just don't have the time this game requires in order for you to complete it.

Well you just admitted you cheated, even though you might of not cheated to get 100% in the game I now don't beleive you did legitimately.

Kent needed all of the cars in order to test them for the Weekly Race Series, run here at GTP. If the organiser doesn't test car/track/race combinations, we get crap events which people don't enjoy.

That aside, frankly, if Kent told me he'd walked on the surface of the Sun, I'd believe him.

what cheats does it actually contain?
i ask because im interested in the turbo on non turbo car feature
TWIN TURBO LS1 anyone
thats all id really consider buying it for as i think gt4 should of had features like this

People are assuming from what you have said that you cant drive or race that well. Do not worry about that. We all were like that once.
If you take the time to present a case for using a cheat disc to the forum here you may be better accepted.
Your replies are also rather aggresive, ease up a bit, have some fun, and a laugh at what people say about you and do not take it to heart.

If you put the time in and change your attitude, lots of good people here will be prepared to help you improve and learn about GT4.
Most of us are not here to "own anybody" but basically love GT games and want to help.
Even those that are really good do not know everything and are allways willing to learn.

Saying something like "I want to get good at GT4 and am using the cheat disc to get all cars to find out what I like best" is a better way to extract information. You will still be berated for using the cheats but that is part and parcel of the members here.

Or for that matter, OLR racing with xports (to supply replays and to get the "uber saves" needed for organizing events just like Famine mentioned).
