I don't understand why B-spec races are so damn hard to win. or why my drivers suck so much.

I give them cars that should, in theory, completely overpower the competition, but they drive like idiots and hardly pass anyone. giving an "overtake" order doesn't seem to do anything other than stress them out like crazy when they're not even doing anything! I generally give whatever orders necessary to keep the stress level just a little bit over the middle point, since that seems to me like a good place for them to drive aggressively without making mistakes. I just don't understand why I'm giving my drivers a better car than what I used to beat the races in A-spec, and they still can't do it. I also always try to pick a driver who has the upward green arrow next to their helmet, I'm not sure what this means but it seems to suggest the potential for a better performance.

What am I doing wrong?? Does anyone have any strategies they can share? it's just no fun when all I'm thinking during the race is how I wish I could take the wheel and show Bob how it should be done! soo frustrating! DRIVE, YA ASSHOLE!!

I Had that problem in the beginning. I went through about 20 drivers till i found the right personallity. When you pick a driver try and get there starting temp just above the middle mark on the blue and red meter. for the first few races make sure to keep that needle in the middle or a little under it.
