Was working on the A-spec Super GT series when I though "why not try it with no HUD?"
As I thought that, I decided to put on the driving line to help out a bit (have a 19" TV-hard to see corners well), especially since I was driving the X1/X2010.
All I have to say is "HOLLY ****". I ran into corners quite a bit in the first few laps on R246, but I got the hang of it in the last couple of laps (aside from still hitting a miss-judged corner or the slower cars
), running fast around corners and setting roughly one minute laps.
I think that might be the best experience I've had in GT5 so far. PD did a truly good job on the racing experience in the game. If only I could get an option to show laps, position, the speedometer, and the timing (total, current lap, best lap, previous laps), and I think GT5 would be the best game out.
GT5 FTW (and the X1 too).
