...For handling such problems with stupid/newb people. This forum would be unimaginably chaotic if we let them amuck through our organized "society."

But the tip off of the hat goes really to how the staff deals with stupid/newb people. I love watching how Der Alta and Duke, if I may express it this way, "Lay the smack down" on those who do truly need it. If I see someone banned, my hopes rise a little bit to see if I can find myself a little amusement as to how they got banned :D. Also how all the mods/supermods can make them feel like complete idiots and we can watch them look like idiots and sit back and laugh.

I truly appreciate all the work that you guys do to keep these forums clean, and I tip my hats off as to how you do it; it gets the job done, and provides a good show  (not to mention a nice example shown by you guys).

So, the US was not that strict follower of the Human rights eh?
After reading that...

Edit 2

I'm thinking about becoming a premium member. :trouble: I'm really beginning to like this site to where I'm on it at least once an hour...not to mention all the lovely posts I read...(Hint, convince me to go premium and I just may) Also my PM box is getting kind of full :dopey:

Nice....

Hmm...if anything needed to be said thanking the staff, it's been said here

I'm not sure that publically "praising" bannings is the type of attitude that Jordan and Co. would wish to perpetuate. Every forum has trolls and troublemakers, and it goes without saying that they are eventually dealt with.

A forum this size has plenty of Veterans who are quick to point out miscues by new folks (some more polite than others) and quickly flame the people who are genuinely causing trouble.

Pointing out the foibles and misfortunes of these folks in public is akin to rubbernecking at an accident scene...it says a lot about the "rubbernecker". :odd:

You know, I see the references in your sig, location, and avatar alluding to what I conclude is a Christian attitude.

Do you think Jesus would find the banning of trolls, miscreants, and the misguided funny?

As much as I enjoy a well deserved banning, I don't relish in watching the mess.

We often times do it in such a way to give example to others to learn from.

NoQuarter has it right. Its not something we enjoy.

i guess i should have bolded this in my first post

(not to mention a nice example shown by you guys)

DA, i do agree though it must be hectic cleaning up messes...but how you guys clean it up brings a smile to my face, and truly appreciated

i guess i should have put emphasis on enjoying giving someone a well-deserved ban 👍
