I tried making some drifts

The only thing was that I did it in arcade. Pick the Nissan Sylvia Aero, put it on drift mode and did it on Midfield. I made some slides, but overall I need more practice. My main grip is that the car tries to autostabilize itself.
 
Ok. How long did it take you to master it? Also, do you even drift on the straights? I have seen some vids about it, and people even drift on the straight. That is just :eek:
 
i havent mastered(spelling) it and ive been driftin for about 8 ish months now..still not as good as other people but im pretty good...and yes i drift on the straights.....just swing the back end of the car in a feint motion ( back and forth) to combine your drifts....
 
I find that drifting on the straights is easy with a 4wd or a Mini. It's kinda fun.
 
Agreed, the mini is a big surprise to drift as far as ass-sliding goes.

I think it's easiest with a rwd..
 
yeah. it keeps me from being bored on the straights :)

tercel_driver, just turn off TCS and ASM and slap some Sim tires on and you'll be drifting in no time, good luck
