I am home now and took a pic of the Radeon 9550. It is the 256 and thats about all I know. It was $130 and hopefully it good enough for Half Life 2. If you need more specs or numbers let me know tonight. Ill be on for a little longer.

Please elaborate, or just check out this.

Yeah it's amazon, but strangely no other site i could find had any in stock.

I can almost completly assure you any 'lite' version is going to have something cut down. In this case, I do believe it to be the RAM. 128-bit, I'd say.

Sapphire started doing this to some of their cards, cutting down on certain things. The Atlantis struck something in my mind, so I figured I'd say something.

Hmm. I do believe it's 128Mb Ram i dunno if it's 128-bit or not, i hope it's good stuff. I believe the lite version on Amazon comes with less software/games or none at all. That's fine though really. so long as there is a half decent overclocking piece of software.

The overclocking is the reason behind wanting the 9800Pro Atlantis. you can take it up to 472Mhz with the standard fan, cooling etc. With added cooling, it should reach close to 500Mhz which is way above most cards costing 3 times as much today.

Im not concerned with the price since its too late for that. I just want to make sure it will work. The moment I bought that I only had 15 minutes to decide before the store closed and I really really wanted to get one for my GF after we found out the video card wasnt good enought that came with the new comp.

Well, If thats the case, then you should be fine. It'll run HL2 really nicely.

As far as I'm concerned, I can run ok framerates with a P3 933mhz and a 9200se PCI. I

Like Viper Zero posted, have a look at this.

It would seem like you'd be able to play DX8 800x600 fairly well.
