Now that sounds like my idea of purgatory. Besides, how can you possibly stretch the definition of 'Grand Touring' far enough to cover the Hummer?

Maybe they should just try to make an off-road version of GT. With everyones favorite SUV's, and trucks, and then could have the normal street version that is available to everyone on the commercail market, and then they could have the off road race versions, that are only available in off-road racing competition.

It's apples and oranges. The rally section barely fits the game and could go away with no problem.

And rally racing Escalades? That's just stupid.

No more stupid than the very existence of the Escalade AV or whatever it's called (the double-plus-expensive Avalanche).

Why not just buy 4x4 Evo if you want this stuff?

I wouldn't have a problem if when you got to 100% you unlocked a few goodies.

Some of these could include a novelty section with cars that don't quite fit.

I think they should also have something a bit more serious as well like hp limits unlocked when you get to 100%, possibly secret tracks, a few more fantasy cars eg Fiat Coupe Turbo LM Car LOL.

You could even unlock a racing mod option or at least more parts like spoiler kits, maybe better turbos/na tunes for the cars that don't go all the way, bigger tires.

The manufacturers might not like this but a hybrid option.

Remember that I said all this is stuff you would unlock by getting to 100%. I am sure others could come up with more rewards you could earn by getting 100%.

EDIT: I have also previously said that the reason why people want everything in Gran Turismo from bikes to ride on lawn mowers is that the 4x4 evo and other games dont' cut the mustard when put up against GT. If the other games were as good as GT then great but they aren't therefore I can understand people wanting these other vehicles in GT. They want a good game even if it goes past the GT definition.

Just one more thing. You can sort of compare cars performance in GT3. Obviously when comparing a Japanese car and an overseas one you need to assume the Japanese car is getting a little boost.

Wouldn't it be good to see how a 4wd off roader performs compared to an Imprezza wagon for example ?

No matter how I love this game,I still feel a little bit boring When I drive the car again and again..............
I even want a plane in it,when I feel boring in normal version,I can drive the plane or the hummer with my young brother,he never winned me in the normal version~~~~~
GT not only should brings the competition,but also should brings fun,isn't it???

good lord, you are a total idiot. Good for us the developers of GT don't seem to listen to freakin' idiots. SUV's are lame, not sporty and a waste of gas. Drive a Hummer in Grand Theft Auto and the plane, jesus.....why don't they have razor scooters while they're at it? You just pedal and glide thru the race courses at 7mph....yeah, fun.....dork
