If you don't say it, how do you hear it in your head when you read it? And note that I'm not asking for an 'official' answer, just your personal answer.

edit: Just for clarification, the second choice is the normal pronunciation of own.

I do it the same as Philly. Wouldn't the first two poll answers be basically the same thing, or for the second answer are you saying "instead of pwn, do you just say own?"...?

Pwn is pronounced Own. Only noobs say pown.

I say it like pown, I don't use it in my everyday conversations, but thats how I read it. My English teacher says it like it pee-own, and he sounds ridiculous.

Why would you say it as own, but spell it as pwn? I find the logic behind that confusing...

Technically, you say it like pone. It usually means Player Owned. But after these past months, I've noticed that many of these words have been replaced with ridiculous ones like Scrub, knewb, and so forth.

Because pwn is just a typo of own, which has been popularized in its own right.

Wrong. Newb has been around since before pwned, with Noob as a branch.

Scrub has also been around for a LONG time, although it's always been used in fighting games as opposed to FPSs. In arcades especially, newbies or people that sucked were scrubs before they were anything else.

I don't use it at all, But when I read it, I pronounce it pone.
I really don't like much "internet speak" and try to avoid it as much as possible.

I do occasionally use "lol" on the MSN or forums but thats about all.

I usually go something like "poon-age" but it depends on who I'm joking around with...

The first two choices sound exactly the same.
That's what I thought, too. I'd say it sounds like "pone", so I chose #1 anyway.

EDIT:
Hang on, I think I got the second option. What you meant is that you say "pwn" right as it spells, right? If so, the example with "own" is a tad misleading...

I've never tried to pronounce it.

It looks Welsh.

I'm also aware that you can inflict grievious bodily harm on yourself by trying to pronounce Welsh words without proper supervision, so I'm not willing to try!!!!

I say it closest to "poon", but there's definately a "w" sound in there too.

Pawned. Is better typed than said, usually at school when a fat kid falls over I shout OWNED. Me and mike had an extensive argument with another freind about the pronounciation of PWNED , he thought it was PONED and we thought he was an idiot

I just accidentally portray certain net phrases into everyday converse, purely because they fit certain situes. Such as, pwn, meh, ftw, wtf, omg and so on.
