There would be a race every week or two, with a total of around 10 races. Maybe around 25 laps each? We'd keep track of points, and have Class and Overall champions. I'm thinking the classes could be LMP, GT (probably with a couple HP-based sub-classes - I was thinking of allowing the real GT-based cars, as well as JGTC and others), and maybe Group C, with drivers being able to race in more than one class if they like. Specific rules could be collectively decided beforehand. We could also do this across both GameFAQs and GTPlanet to get the most possible racers. Any and all suggestions are welcome.

Welcome to GTP CyborgGT! I think you'll find that this is a great site, with lots of good advice and several fun series to suit everyone's tastes. There already exists a regularly scheduled Le Mans series; the GTPLMS hosted by ICallShotgun, which will probably kick off in May. And there will also be a continuation of the Historic C-class series; hosted by Tyre King and myself sometime this summer. A quick search in this Race Series forum will show you all the long and short race series currently running. Don't forget to check out the Weekly Race Series (WRS).

Good luck and great racing 👍

I just checked out this race series list - it would be nice if the regular series were listed even on the offseason, but oh well, thanks for the tip! I'll be sure to join the GTPLMS. As active as this site is without true online racing, I can't wait until GT5.

Whoa... your post wasn't there before, La Sarthe...

If the GTPLMS is starting in May, that's too soon to start something similar without them overlapping. ICallShotgun only has two more rounds of the SuperGT Series (one of which has a Qualifying deadline today), so hopefully he'll start the Le Mans Series right afterwards.

Just caught this thread.

Yes, I will be starting the LMS Season after the SuperGT series. Also, there's a chance of some collaboration between the WES and SuperGT in the near future, which I suggest you get in on for a real feel for online racing. Everyone is always invited!

Testing is completed and I think I've got some really good ideas for this season. :) Keep an eye out here in the next week or so for interest/signup.
