Ok look. I was racing an endurance race. i was racing the Rome 2 hour endurance and i pitted in for some new tires.........well.....when turning into the pits my car spun out wnt in sideways and slide just far enough to get auto drive. the dang auto drive kept backing up and straight, up and straight!!! I mean iwas ahead by like 6 laps only and i had like 1hour 47minutes completed!!!! I was so pi$$ed off!!!! I COULD HAVE WON!!!!!

did i mention the car was stuck and couldnt get out of it!? That makes it worse!!!!!

That happened to me in the Rome 2 hr race in GT2, stupid Audi TT lm!

can you believe this happened to me in an F1!!!!!

Never do enduros with F1's u have to pit way to often. R390 GT1, Toyota GT1 or 787b!

Use those with hard compound tires, u'll pit every 20-25laps!

wow!! that sux, but the same thing happened to me its just i didnt take the race seriously. it was the seattle enduro.

I'll remember this thread for when I get to Rome 2hr. The Rome track always has been renowned for catching out out peeps on the Pit Lane.

I remember in GT2, I got my Escudo 6 laps ahead of the pack, I was on lap 64 and my mum said "Turn it off please. We have to go out."

I managed to do it afterwards though. I am now 99.84% on it, I just need to do the GT300 but even with 48 cars in my garage I can't do it!

the GT300 championship is evil. Try using the jaguar xjr9 or whatever - the blue one in special cars (ie. not the XJ220) - or the GT40 race car (win it in the last race of MR challenge - red rock valley) the both come in under 591hp yet can beat those damn gt300 cars, also the TT LM is ok.

Oh yeah, and beef up your garage, to 99 cars so you have more choice.

I had read on a GT fan site that it was possible to get stuck in the pit lanes, it advised lining up with the centre of the lane to get in fine.

I have had a few dodgy spionning experiences using the GT force wheel where the car just slammed into a wall and was steering full lock in a single direction, regardless of what the wheel was doing.
Pausing, removing the lead for the wheel from the console and putting it back in usually cleared it up though!!

?! Must just be me - I always hit the pits going straight; never turning.

One saving grace of GT3 vs GT2 is that you don't have to make that hella left coming in the pits of Laguna Seca yourself any more. I messed that up all the time.

I have actually tried going in the pits in different directions just to muck around, but it has never made the car get stuck. That must of sucked big time for you!

Same thing happend to me. But i was at the super speedway and i had like 15 lap lead and some how i got free when another car crased into me when he went into the pits. But by that time i was only down 1 lap and i ended up winning the race. That race i ended up winning my fist f1 car the f090:D

check the thread a few spots down about biggest race flush - same sort of thing and you see you are not alone!!

i have had the same problem with my Thrustmaster FF wheel. suddenly all control is lost, making some spectacualr crashes, but usually meaning a major loss. all i do is pause the game using the PS2 controller, which still works with the wheel plugged in, turn the wheel off-on, and should be fine.

btw, the wheel has since blown up, 1/3 through the laguna seca enduro and that nasty electric burning smell appeared, then major shutdown. i had to complete the race using the controller, which before then had never used. good race though.

damn man that sucks..i feel for ya..next time ake it easy going into the pit :)
