I was very ashamed racing with another GTP'er tonight at Suzuka PP600. I had had quite a few great races with these two unknown drivers who were clean and really good.

Then this GTP driver arrives(don't want to name names for now) and he starts acting like a prick, crashes into everything, then on our second lap he is driving the wrong way, something I really hate. To top it of on our last lap he is just driving down the Dunlop curve at 40 km/h and as I come flying by with this guy on my tail and as we pass him by, the GTP driver hits the guy on my tail on the side sending him way off the track. I was so ashamed that I was waring the same tags as this guy and after seeing that last stunt, I stopped and let the guy back on and let him pass me. It wouldn't have felt right just going on even though I had nothing to do with the crash it was just because of the GTP tag. Then I thought, maybe this was just a really bad race for this guy, lets give him the benefit of the doubt. I start a new race and behold this guy is again on the grid and again starts racing backwards after the first lap, then I had had enough, and quit, couldn't stand associating me with him on a 12 car grid.

I honestly never thought I would see such etiquettes from a GTP driver, very sad :indiff:
 
Did you check to see if this guy is a GTP_ PSN REGISTERED member? If he is not, then we need to know who we are up against that is trying to make the GTP_ guys look bad. If he is, then you should register a complaint with the Moderator so that action can be taken against him. Let's bust him if we can so that this behavior is not attributed to GTP_ members.
 
I suggest forwarding his name to Sphinx who has been running the PSN thread. Keeping bad eggs anonymous is not solving anything, I personally think they should be named and shamed but there are various school's of thought on the issue, whatever the case, the individual needs to be confronted in some manner 👍
 
Yeah I agree with MisterWeary..Let everyone know who he/she/it is..Don't let that stuff slide..make 'em feel bad for what they did..
 
Agreed. This person can't just be left alone to trash the GTP name. Hopefully our rep will assure people that this is probably just one bad egg, IF it is even an egg of ours at all. :ouch: People like this just make me want to reach through the TV and slap them some sense. :lol:

it may not be the actual gtp guy, could be his kid brother or something like that
 
Sorry to hear this, definately forward his name and all details to Sphinx. This would have been really shameful to see, bad enough hearing about it.

Could be, but still forward the name to Sphinx anyways. He can then PM him and ask for an explanation.

Message him and ask for an explanation. Unless he/she has a valid excuse, I would definitely want to see that person take responsibility.

2nd time you quit you should have messaged him I'd name him/pm him now.
 
Check if he's registered GTP_ member, if he is:

There is a guy posting on another forum under the GTP tag which I found strange as I checked the registry and he wasn't listed here. Questioned him about it and he said that he had applied for the tag only a day or two ago. I didn't think it wise for him to be posting under an official forum nametag without it having been approved first.
 
As the correct procedure has been posted, we're done here.
