Look at that!Pure Racing!Pure Love for cars! No Online!No LeaderBoard!You Don't care about your lap times! Because it all about racing and passion for kaz! I wish the original crew of gran turismo series under yamauchi-san should make the next installment for this series. it clearly shows the new staff of pd doesn't do a justice on their job. They focus too much detailing those interiors and cars and forgetting their prioritize about small things in this series that could change our view in racing industry. but no!

What are you on about? GT5 is made by the exact same developers as GT2 and all other GT games.

You presumably have a PS3. Just play it on that.

Actaully i played GT1 and GT2 quite a bit in thee run up to GT5. Real timeless classics:D

The Lancer and S200 on the intro are almost premiums. lmao.

But the rest are bad standards.

Awesome game. The thing is: after GT1, GT2 was simply MUCH BIGGER. And better :)

You can play them on any PS3, only PS2 games you required an old 60GB PS3.
 
You can play PS1 games on any PS3, but you can only play PS2 games on the original PS3s.

If you have a PS3 (which you probably do), you can play GT2 :D

Um... no? It isn't anymore difficult to buy a hard copy of 95% of the PSX library than it is to buy it off of PSN. And it is a moot point anyways because all PS3 consoles can play PSX games.

Come to think of it, I was playing my hard copy of GT2 on the PS3 just the other day. :)
 
Ebay yourself a hard copy for $.99 and 4 dollars for shipping.
 
My final fantasy 7 and 8 wont work on my slim ps3, and they are in perfect nic.
 
I play GT since the first one, and I must say I agree with the OP. The GT2 were the best GT so far (on his own time, of course...). Because the amount and the variety of cars, tracks quality (Red Rock, Rome Night, Test Track, to name a few), the possibility to Race Modify almost any car in the game - with several diferent liveries - rally! It were very complete!
