I am having a very rough time almost mastering this exam.
The little zipline corners are easy to do, but when I come to the last large corner going straight to the finish line, I have to slow down to 44 mph and if I go any higher or lower than that it will understeer real badly making my a exam freaking nightmare.
I remember in GT 2 exams you could see the movement of your wheels next by the brake and gas meter, is that in GT 3 because that is the only thiing that will help me.
Other than that I'm screwed and I really don't want to think about final exam which I heard is pure evilness.....

Please refresh my memory which ones these are. It's been a while since I played GT3 and I don't have these in my notes.

Yes, which car and which track? Is it at Complex String? If so, use the Advanced search for posts on this board about "TT10" or "Complex String". I wrote a lap description that includes that portion of the track.

I finally mastered the 7th exam in IA-7 international,
My final problem now is the Final Exam in IA license test.
I'll make this as clear as I can, half of that course is simple to master, but halfway through the finish line that blasted Skyline GT-R understeers if I am braking at a low 46-58mph also part of the problem is making very tight squeezes near the end of the course track if anybody might have a clue on what I should do, please say.
Half of the video's at Youtube.com relating to GT 3 license test don't make any kind of sense to me at all. :(

OK. You've told me which car. Now. Can. You. Please. Tell. Me. What. Track.

My PS2 is in a box and I haven't played GT3 in 3 years. Just refresh my memory, please.

There was a really good explanation about how to do these tests somewhere. Can't remember where, tho. Think I'll do a search.

EDIT: Couldn't find it at all, sorry. I know that info is out there for these tests. Within the last couple years, one of the mods posted it all down, I think it was either Scaff or Famine. But I can't find the exact thread I'm thinking of. :(

It maybe a long shot, but does some website archives other sites and forums and keeps it as a hold history log of pages ? I know google cache's alot of sites but even if the site goes down permanently it will be hard to bring up any old contents of the site linking to any specific information that the user needs.

I'm not sure what you mean. :(

Thanks for your help but the information that duke gave me only led to Granturismo 4 faqs.
Somebody shutdown this thread please, sorry to have even started this mess.

It took me ages to complete this test. I eventually done it by driving very aggresively and ended up going over the finish line backwards lol

No need to be sorry; GT3 is just a bit on the old side and no one is that current on it. I didn't keep very good notes for license tests in GT3.

If you're having trouble with the sharper turns at the end, I'd say you probably need to brake earlier. The Skyline, like most AWD cars, is going to understeer on the throttle, so brake early, turn in sharply from way outside, and aim for a very late apex. That lets you get on the throttle early and not have to negotiate the sharp part of the turn under power.
