Icons missing in garage

Ok so back in February my ps3 died and I just finally got around to getting it fixed. So I fire up my new unit, install gt5 and the updates, transfer my save game back from my thumb drive and I go into my garage and most of the cars in the list are missing their thumbnail images. Before my ps3 death there were maybe 2 or 3 thumbnails missing and that was fine. But now this is making looking for a car a pain in the rump. Is there any way to make them show up again?
 
Press triangle > update thumbnail.

Repeat for any cars that don't have a thumbnail picture. There is no way to do them all at once.
 
You need to press the triangle button over the car you want the icon back and select the "Create thumbnail" option. Got to do the same procedure on everyone of the cars that the icon is missing
 
Thats cool I didn't know you could do it that way. Thats a lot easier than the way I figured out how to do it. I took and put the car that was missing the picture icon to the online share and than took it back off and the icon would than appear.
 
I had this problem myself recently. At first, I didn't know about the create thumbnail option and instead went through repainting cars, changing wheels/spoilers, etc. Probably blew through 30-40k before I figured that out. Oops!
