Help please!
Recently I started having issues running GT5 while connected to PSN that I never had before. The game freezes everytime I run it being logged on and I get the message on the thread title. I have tried all the updates and both PS3 and GT5 are up to date.
The only way I am managing to run and play GT5 is not signed into PSN. Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

I haven't experienced such. a bad/slow connection might be to blame. My ps3 freezes occasionally when searching for lobbies.

No I don't believe it us such as my kids play other online games flawlessly, it's something between GT5 an PSN that I've never experienced before. And also our connection speed is quite reasonable; last test showed 10+mbps.

I'm having this same issue right now! I can sign in before I start the game no problem but when I start the game I get a "FAILED-a connection to the server could not be established (ID-2:2147459071) WTF I was on yesterday with no issues

Also when I don't get signed out it freeses at the GT5 logo screen before the words appear at the bottom

Turn off and turn back on/restart your modem. That should help.

totally is gt server problem..

Try turning off if any other wifi devices around your ps3 if you have any on , this kept happening to me aswell so I turned everything else off and things improved alot , goodluck ;)
Also try clearing your cache in gt5

I have this problem. Thought it was something wrong with my PS3 itself, as I tried everything to fix it. Ended up buying a new PS3 today just to find out that I have the same problem. ******* brilliant.

Bump bump; I'm having this error message now trying to login on GT5, PSN goes good that one connects normally but when loading the game either it loads up normally and then get's stuck later on or i get this error message.

As there wasn't a real conclusion in this thread so far, i'm wondering if now somebody has some more info about this as we are half a year further almost.

So anyone else have this same error message popping up? Or anyone know of what the message means at least?

mabay clear the network thing in options its fine for me im not sure what it could be
