...I lost a PS3 this past year and I haven't been patching with my new until this week. Is it normal to disconnect and re-connect to install all these patches? this is going on 5 days. 4 attempts at re-install. I LOVE THIS GAME,but WTF.

Dont worry. Every version of the game are downloaded sequentially. Ex: If you already downloaded from 1.00, then disconected on 1.06, then you just need to restart that 1.06 and continue until the latest.
